"far weaker hardware than their competition"
We've seen and heard nothing that lends any viability to that statement. Even on paper its a 1.72 Tflop difference which is hardly "far weaker" and it his been stated numerous times by numerous developers its marginal at best. In reality every multiplat game so far has been listed as running the same on both systems even Dirt can do 120fps on both consoles. Both console will be powerful and comparative I d...
I bet.
Seems odd to do QA after the game went gold but I trust CDPR to do whats best for the game. 21 days sucks but it could be worse.
@UnHoly_One
I appreciate your opinion and point of view, I dont appreciate the "bunch of crap" comment, I have no issue with a counter point but it would be nice if it didn't require the hostility. We dont know if that's the only reason for those words, we truly won't know it until an official analysis is done and in the end you might be right but it could very well be a stable and locked 60fps experience as well and that's what I believe it will b...
This isn't going to be a F2P game though its just being offered for free for a two month window through PS Plus after that if you didn't get it in that time frame you'd have to pay for it. Two months should be plenty of time though for people to download it and potentially bolster the player pool.
Bungie has made something like twenty games since the early 90's. Operation: Desert Storm was the reason Bungie was founded in 91, they went on to make Minotaur: The Labyrinths of Crete, Pathways into Darkness, Marathon, Myth: The Fallen Lords (fond memories of that one), Oni, Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach. Bungiie was a much beloved and respected developer while they were making Halo for xbox, Halo Reach sold $200 million on its first day of release in S...
He's been doing analysis videos for ages now from a camera he has set up in his own place, being "camera shy" had nothing to do with it. I agree there's no harm its just not very professional or respectful.
lol, right? Well if this game is a job I'm ready to go to work!
lol
Think it just means it will be in the PS Plus line up of downloadable free games for February and March of next year.
An addition to PS Plus move by Sony but I agree its a wise one..
It "sucks" that they're giving the game away for free? Or are you saying the game itself "sucks"?
Very cool, thank you Santa Monica for giving gamers the option.
I think people are taking the wording out of context, it just means its select-able up to that number. I'll give you an analogy to hopefully help it make better sense. Say you get in an elevator of a sixty story building, you can choose to go to the thirtieth floor or you can go to the sixtieth floor, if you choose to go "UP TO" the sixtieth floor it doesn't mean you're going to go to the fifty fifth floor and then back down to the fiftieth and then up to the fifty eight...
Sounds cool, definitely like the fun and challenge of a good trivia game.
Couldn't disagree more, it looks like very well thought out and helpful user interface which will lend itself to getting things done much faster.
Haven't heard "many fans" say that at all. In fact I've heard nothing but the contrary and you're the only person I've seen refer to it as "garbage". The cards appear to be appropriately sized as well. It appears to be a very positive change.
There could be a very good reason why Sony isn't as interested in communicating with DF in the way Microsoft does and perhaps we got a small taste of that with this very video and Alex's inability to say the very simple game title without acting like he forgot and then simply dismissing it as if it didn't matter. You have to admit it was insulting and un-professional, his job is to discus video games he should be a bale to remember a game tile he knows he's going to be making ...
While I don't prescribe to the idea of bias at DF you have to admit it was at the least extremely un-professional, its not a hard title to say or remember and saying it the way he did comes off as dismissive as if it not important enough to be said correctly. People have a right to call him on it, its nothing to do with sensitivity its expecting a higher level of professionalism from an outlet that should know better.
"a couple of games", seriously?
Come on now, even you know that's not true.
