Who's dumping on it? He had a legit question regarding the hyperbolic article title. I agree the ad is a cool idea in theory but I thought it was going to be like a legit guy who had kept a video record of himself buying systems over the years which would have been amazing, not a scripted commercial with paid actors and makeup to age the guy.

Lots of games have exclusive content as incentives, no one to my knowledge ever suggested it makes the developer any more money in the long run, admittedly I'm not sure if that's ever even been studied or analyzed but suffice it to say I think the game was going to do poorly regardless as it just isn't that great of a game.
They may add it in later they may not, cool if they do fine if they dont. Sorry gamepot not outraged, not a deal breaker, not canceling my pre-order, you'll have to try something else.
Making stellar games people want to play all the way through and not switch around trying to find something worth playing. I hope they stay stuck there its been working out great for them so far.
When they play the "doesn't have what the other one has" game it doesn't come off as positive, comes off as rubbing it in and we see it done this way quite a bit. Oddly enough we dont see any "series x controller has no haptic feedback and adaptive triggers" articles. If people are going to make these 'pit one against the other' articles then do it equally or don't do it at all.

The only people "blind to any sense" are the ones trying to spread lies about the battery life. You think Sony would launch a console with a controller that only lasted two to four hours before needing to be charged? Stop trying to spread FUD it does a disservice to the entire gaming community.

Pretty outstanding difference considering how incredible the game already looked.
I'd imagine it would be difficult to see a major difference though this highly compressed internet video, I'm sure actaully playing it on PS5 would make it very noticeable.

People need to get over the "native" thing, the difference as stated here are minuscule as was suspected by people a while ago, and now its been fully debunked by people who know far more about graphics than any of us.
So then why is there so much outrage over Godfall's always online aspect if its so "visionary"?
