You have to hand it to Microsoft they do tend to embrace their shortcomings and dont seem to mind poking a bit of fun at themselves.
I wasn't pretending.
All of them, go crazy and enjoy!
All of them huh? lol
@TheOtherMoon
Cause my PS4 sits in the open with plenty of space around it. Riddle solved.
Nice to hear this is much more then just a controller tech demo after all.
100% agree I have bought around six to eight replacements since getting my PS4, the build quality is not good and I'm hoping the Dual Sense is a big improvement in that department.
I agree it really does seem like reaching for anything to complain about.
Here's a direct quote from CNet as it relates to optical audio, happy to post the link if anyone wants to read it for themselves.
"The optical connection is disappearing from more and more products."
"This once cool cable is dying a very slow death."
It appears to be going away in a lot of device in favor of audio through...
My bad I didn't initially see the one you were referring to, yeah its not there and I think its not there because they wanted to do a straight console to console size comparison without the stand adding to the height, honestly I think you could get away with standing the unit up without a stand but it might block airflow and not be worth it, stands included so its not a big deal really.
Pretty sure its there its just tucked back underneath and a little hard to see.
What liquid cooling tech, where did you get that it was liquid cooled? Are you referring to the liquid metal as the TIM? That is only for better heat transfer from the CPU to the heatsink and has nothing to do with the overall size of the system. If its "ridiculous" to make a system that will run cool and quite as was demanded by people then "ridiculous" it will just have to be. But I think its ridiculous to be so overly concerned about the size of the console when the big...
MY PS5 will sit exactly where my PS4 sat no additional space required, weird right?
How is it not, exactly?
Because the series x has a 1.72 terflop difference that by all accounts wont make any difference doesn't mean the PS5 is not a powerful console.
I thought it was supposed to look like a "router"? lol. If it doesn't look like something you want in your living room then put it somewhere else or just dont buy it, that's an option.
I'm not concerned at all and I dont find it to be "huge" its just bigger than series x and that's fine if it means its a cool and quiet system which should be the focus as apposed to its overall dimensions that keep being obsessed over. I have plenty of room for it and cant wait to place it in its happy home, in my happy home.
PS5 definitely stands out as a jewel of console design among the three.
Can only go in one of two ways you're guaranteed to get it right fifty percent of the time, lol.
Bluepoint Games choice in how they present the game doesn't translate into Sony being "out of touch". Beyond that at this point its little more than an unsubstantiated rumor anyway.
And to your point of complacency what we might be seeing is the Gamepass effect here, people have suggested for some time now that Gamepass would make for dulled down versions of games, perhaps MS thought they could deliver a sub-par Halo experience tailor made for maximum profit with as little development effort as possible and weren't ready for the backlash once people saw it.
