You're trolling aside, if an old "remastered" game that doesn't have ray tracing can look this incredible then we are in for some insane looking games on PS5 as the developers get better acquainted with all its capabilities.
How dare they protect their IP.
Sony is a business, Microsoft and Nintendo or any other company for that matter would do the same if someone was attempting to use their product or license for profit without express consent. Stop trolling.
Where did I say options were bad? You stated, "honestly dont understand why" and I suggested the reason why, I never mentioned anything about options being good or bad, human hands are symmetrical its just a fact there's no reason to be defensive.
"Why force someone into a configuration they don't want?"
Because unless your thumb on your left had is growing out of the side of your index finger, human hands are symmetrical
Whats the point if youre not playing PS5 games through PS5 and taking full advantage of the haptics and adaptive triggers which is what everyone is raving about?
The DualSense is a true revolution in gaming, awesome to hear so many people are loving it, cant wait to try it out for myself.
Didn't you know Razzer the future of gaming is mirror puddles and super glossy cars? lol
The problem is with the advent of the internet and social media you have people doing reviews that are those fanboys you mentioned so the chance for games to get true unbiased and fair reviews are few and far between these days
From the article:
"I love the Pokemon franchise a lot. Like, a lot. I buy every single one when they’re released, often the same day they come out. But they almost never score that well, and they probably never will. I couldn’t give any one entry more than a 75 and feel good about it. But my feelings about Pokemon are so much more layered than that stupid number can express!"
Yeah sounds like a massive "Sony fanboy". smh
I'm not apposed to a different system but I certainly wouldn't support one that had anything to do with Eurogamer.
"Metacritic shouldn't have the power to delay the release of a AAA video game."
This is a pretty far reach, Metacritic has no power to delay anything the decision was ultimately made by CDPR becasue they want their game to be as high a quality as possible and like it or not that is reflected in an overall meta score. How much weight that score is given in the end is left up to everyone individually.
Those are actually pretty great screenshots, amazing lighting, textures and effects and these are just PS4 images, just imagine PS5. The only downside is the images are so small.
I've seen it in driving photo modes as you suggest like on Gran Turismo when you click to take the photo it actually renders an image and there's a clear difference, in Spider-man the paused image looks just like the end photo result only exception being any photo effects you add like depth of field and the like. Its incredible Spider-man just actually looks that good in game.
Sony doesn't need the "hardware part" they patented their own Deep Learning Super Sampling technology last year.
The differentiation is for the way its achieved not the end result. Its ok they'll look the same it not a big deal I'm not sure why people are so bothered by this. Happy gaming.
@ King_Noctis
You should maybe go back and re-read the article they never use the word "dynamic" they said it was upscaled 4K. Its not switching resolutions this is another classic case of people reading something and interpreting it the way they want for the sake of trolling. So to answer your question, it will look the same becasue it will. If it helps though I will admit as its not native it wont have as much detail if you pause the game and zoom in 200% so I u...
I'm sure there's no ray tracing but I'd be careful referring to a Google translate article as "verbatim", just sayin.
Game development is complex, things change including launch dates, doesn't mean everything is a "lie", please stop trolling.
"due to lack of power"
Your comment seems due to a lack of common sense, if the console lacked the ability to do it no game on PS5 would have Ray tracing, they've already showed several games that include it like R&C: A Rift Apart and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it was a developer choice not a console limitation so you should probably stop embarrassing yourself now.
