Heard it works on PS4 through remote play.
Don't think we've gotten anything official either way, just speculation from the fans of both camps which is nothing to go by. Regardless if it doesn't come to PS5 I wouldn't be too concerned there will still be plenty of amazing games to play.
You cant play off the external but you can store games there and transfer them to the internal drive to play from whenever you like.
Storage is bad all around on all the next gen consoles, hopefully the prices will come down on some quality compatible drives soon as expanding storage is pretty much a requirement this time around for xbox and Playstation.
Very cool to hear another third party game is fully supporting the DualSense and all its next gen features.
I understand whats best for competitive play, again that has nothing to do with your original question. I'm not sure why you are arguing or even feel the need to. You asked "how does this even matter", I simply suggested why it does, the improvements will help the competitive nature of the game on console, that's the reason for the article, the reason why it matters and the answer to your question. I have nothing more to add to this conversation. Happy gaming.
So called? its 300 BRL cheaper for both consoles, is that somehow not a price cut?
I'm gonna grab my tranq gun and net and go see if I can capture one.

Might have to give this one a revisit with the improvements.
Sure but that wasn't really the conversation we were having and not everyone has or chooses to play Fortnite on PC I'd imagine, so having the bump in frames and resolution on console is a benefit and what matters in this particular instance.
I wouldn't consider PS5's launch line up weak at all and its launch window is fantastic, all of which I find very exciting. The game hasn't changed its just one is playing it a lot better than the other.
Sony isn't messing around and coming out of the starting gate strong.
You beat me to it, would love a new Warhawk. I bet Bluepoint could give as an amazing remake of the original game.
I believe the latest World of Warcraft expansion requires one.
Well I imagine becasue as Fortnite is a competitive shooter and everyone says higher frame rates matter in those games the fact the game will be running at 60fps at a high resolution means it matters. Add to that the immersion the DualSense provides to a shooter as described in the article also matters. Its not about what it can run on, its about how its running and how it feels while playing it. So there's reasons it matters but it doesn't have to matter to you, its personal preferen...
4k @ 60 with dual sense support sounds like a winner to me. On a side note, so much for the belief that third party wouldn't take advantage of the DualSense functionality.
Easy sure but this voids the warranty.
I mean I'm waiting for both but whatever floats your goat I guess, lol.
Why would a resolution they're not worried about supporting be a "very common" resolution on PS5?
