I really don't like DLC, or digital distribution in general rather.
Every time I buy a game of PSN for instance, I feel a bit of buyers remorse because I simply don't feel like I own it and I know in 20 years I won't be able to add it to my collection.
Sorry, guys. Digital distribution may be convenient -- but I'll take a hard copy over that any day.
Ocarina of time is overrated. Majora's mask is where it's at.
I love phantom disagrees.
Haven't they already said this, except the far more insulting comparison of kotor 3-12? Whatever, they're not really saying much. Everybody knows that an MMO is going to have A LOT more content in it to keep people busy. So it has more content than those games, so what? Does that mean the content is going to be better? I doubt it.
The world isn't black and white. I'm not excusing them for their inaction. I'm just stating that you people tend to get a little trigger happy with demanding the death penalty and that not everybody who has commited actions/inactions that led to anothers death deserves it.
"Capital punishment isn't even the same as years ago, and back in the day, the reason they stopped it was because of some of them they go wrong.
They did not have the methods of today, dna etc...
That's a valid point Mamba. They had a chance and they screwed it up royally. But I believe if somebody has the capacity to become a productive member and good willed member of society they should generally have a second chance. I believe locking people up who could just as easily be working, living, and contributing to society is pointless and nearly as big as a waste of life as letting a child starve when it could easily be avoided. If they're beyond rehabilitation then them let sit at some...
You guys are really quite quick to cite the need for capital punishment. I've noticed a trend lately that when people read about somebody's impending execution the start to go on some sort of moralistic crusade about how capital punishment is a barbaric relic of the past and should no longer be practiced. Then lets say there's an article below in the same nature as this one and the very same people start rapidly demanding the death penalty as if that fixes everything.
The death ...
I've heard a lot about how great Killzone 2 is, and I haven't played the full game mind you. However, I did download the demo and I must say from what I played in that I was not impressed. I absolutely hate grey how it is. I hate grey. I've had enough games that are grey this gen. That's why I sprung for Uncharted 2 (which is one the best games I've played) over Killzone. As for the actual gameplay.... I don't know. I just wasn't digging it. Everything felt sort of floaty and loose to me. I'l...
Because the person who is being paid to hype the game is credible on such subjects, right? What is he going to say? "Uh hey guys, this game has a lot of content, as much as KOTOR 3-12 but it all sucks and consists of you killing X amount of womp rats" Sure, they say it's all about story but I find it hard to believe that the story will be on par or as powerful in either of the kotor games simply because this is an MMO and you'll be having a bunch of dipshits ruining the immersion. N...
It's not KOTOR 3-12. That was an absurd comment. It may have as much content just like any MMO would (considering they want you to keep playing and paying a subscription fee) but that doesn't mean you can compare that content to a single player RPG. Personally, I'd rather take KOTOR 3 over this supposed "KOTOR 3-12".
And I wish this game would just go away.
Hahaha...
Giving KOTOR to obsidian is in no way like giving COD to Treyarch and you're a complete tit for even suggesting that. People have always exaggerated about the extent of KOTOR 2's flaws and blame them completely on Obsidian. Considering Obsidian was being rushed out the wazoo by Lucasarts to deliver by Christmas I think they did an admirable job. Obsidian has the talent, and they have the potential. Remember, they're made up mostly from the development team that did the first 2 Fallouts and Pl...
KOTOR 2 was better. But seriously, give me KOTOR 3. TOR is a huge slap in the face, considering they can't even give us a decent art style that fits with the universe. Let Obsidian make it and give them the damn development time they need.
If I would put Bioware on that list. After TOR I'm still quite sore. I realize it's Bioware Austin and all but still. Whatever, I suppose I'll trade in my Bioware fanboy card for an Obsidian one.
Ever since KOTOR none of their games have really raised the bar for me. So it's going to take A LOT to live up to this claim. But words are empty, and frankly, I just don't know.
Yeah, it really does suck that they're instead making that stupid Old Republic game. Not only do they not give us a proper conclusion to one of the best RPG series of all time but they have the nerve to say that we should be thankful and that the old republic is soooooo much better. Also it looks stupid. Heroic proportions my ass. Can't even give us a game that retains classic kotor style. Screw you Bioware.
We COULD just forgot GT ever existed. Please, god. It shouldn't even be considered part of dragonball as it completely ruined everything by making all the characters huge pussies and giving us even more retarded plots and plot twists than the DBZ. Also one of the villains is called baby. Ooooh, really freaking intimidating. I can't even begin to fathom how anybody could like any part of that show.
Nope they're sticking with this current style apparently in a futile attempt to have a unique look to the game when Star Wars already had a wonderfully unique art style. I'm sorry, but "heroiclly" proportioned characters with overly exaggerated features aren't my thing when supposedly story is the main focus for the game. At the very least they could change those horrendous character models into something more akin to a normal human being whom you can identify with.
But the game already looks like garbage. So I don't see your argument. Are you saying if they let us up the settings for eyecandy that the game on the lower settings would look worse somehow than it already does? Maybe I'm just ignorant or something here.
Purple lightning? Why is it that everything they do ruins the great Old Republic art style?
