Hello fellow inFamous stan,
I don't expect the cold boot to be much faster than this. I'm not saying that as a mark against PlayStation. For me where the SSD is going to matter is in boot from sleep mode, game switching, and then obviously the in-game advancements like we've seen in Ratchet and Clank and Demon's Souls.
I noticed it. But if its a devkit it would be different. But honestly, it looked like a skin to me.
Edit: on second viewing on a bigger screen it did not look like a skin to me.
You have to consider the fact that the warning might be required. I'm really interested in whether or not Sony's quick resume can fully rival MS, if not exceed it. Either way I'm so ready for Nov 12th and De....
struction Derby.
Thats a joke Definitely can't wait for Demon's Souls. I will platinum it again.
What are you basing this off? Not being confrontational just genuinely curious
I will not wait for sales. Demon's souls and Miles Morales day one.
as well as
-Destruction Derby
-The Pathless
-Godfall
-Sackboy
Lol you think people bitching online is going to change anything. Nah. Vote with your wallets. Buy it or don't. That's all there is to it. All there ever was. For me, this isn't a big deal. Day one I will be picking up 6 ps5 games. For my buddy, he says he's waiting until games drop in price. No one is forcing anyone to pay anything.
yea over-ear is really the only option for me. Don't get me wrong I have more than a few awesome pairs of over-ear. But When I'm going for a walk or in public in general. I definitely would prefer something more discrete.
Hope you're doing all right in this pandemic I know the gym can be a great form of stress relief and hope you're finding another way to keep your spirits up.
I wish my tiny earholes were big enough for in ear headphones. Often times even the smallest sizes don't work for me
Hey bro why don't you come bring your box games over to Playstation you can put them in the disc tray and relive your childhood through the power of imagination. Because this console doesn't support any box compatibility and also has 0 compatibility with ps3 ps2 and ps1.
LOL As a PlayStation gamer I cannot understand why other PlayStation gamers hate BC. If we had full BC we would have access to the best catalog of games in the world. But instead of applauding a company for doing right by their customers PlayStation gamers (on N4G(Atleast the ones that comment) seem more interested in acting like they wouldn't love to have the feature themselves.
This 100%. There is a PS1 emulator and a PS2 emulator on the PS4 sony would rather charge for psn rerelease than to allow users access to their existing libraries.
How many ps1 games can we play on ps4 through backwards compatibility?
Ps2 games?
Ps3 Games?

"To me, if a game doesn't work in the future on PC then it is not BC whether it is because of drivers or OS upgrades or whatever it really doesn't matter to me, it just won't work. Yes, there is often ways to make it work but not always, and sometimes making it work means you make something else not work. It is kind of a whack-a-mole situation."
In other words, you're wrong but here are some qualifiers that make you right.
you sound like someone who thinks they know what they're talking about. You don't, but at least you sound like it.
Rumor is on the 5th of October things will start trickling out. A lot of reviewers are getting their console.
I agree though I don't like how long sony is making us wait for this. We got a pretty good breakdown in Feb 2013 for the ps4 9 months before release, and here we are with a little over a month to go and I don't even know if I can play persona 5 royal on my console, or if the ps store will get another redesign, or if I can order Doordash straight through psn...
its not a ripoff. that price is relatively standard for PCI-E 4.0 SSD. At best you'd be able to save a few dollars if they let you buy a comparable drive and install urself.
i mean we knew that from the trailer. All the blood definitely indicated this.
It not about PC or not PC it's about how tone deaf celebrating something called outbreak day in the midst of an actual outbreak. Better sometimes to be proactive and avoid any unnecessary problems
this comment makes me laugh and it makes me sad
edit: I laugh because the notion of an Anti-mask protest is so ridiculous, unfortunately they're real and they make me sad.
I use a regular SSD for boot on my PC I save the NVME for Games. although all things considered I'm thinking about switching boot to an NVME.
