For smaller games like this buying early and when it's not on sale is paramount. That's part of how we vote with our wallet. It's not just not supporting what we don't like but supporting what we do like and in a big way.
Forza Horizon is so good I hope people who don't own an Xbox give it a shot
A very rare example of someone using the word literally correctly.
If it's just a custom Windows OS (which it already is)
It won't need any special licensing or anything. It's no different than buying a PC and downloading steam.
Being able to run games through steam will give interest to more people. I for one will definitely be picking one up if that's the case.
If it's 5-600 it'll likely be better than any PC at its price point.
There's no way it doesn't
Very weird article. The only thing that cast doubt on an Xbox Handheld is Microsofts constant shifting around with no solid plan. But even then it's for sure bound to sell more than 4 million because it will be available at retail and will no doubt be advertised everywhere.
I think by and large this wont happen before console go the way of the dinosaur. I think we'll see sony eventually move to day and date PC and console releases. Then I expect to see cloud gaming become more mainstream. Finally when console players are eclipsed by cloud and pc then maybe I could see sony proliferating the rest of the console market.
That being said Sony has allowed lego horizon on switch. I know Death Stranding on Xbox is a bit of an outlier considering ...
I don't disagree with anything you two said. But I don't think Sony would have been so gung ho about their live service approach had there been actual competition.
And no I don't blame it on Microsoft at all Make no mistake these terrible decisions are on PlayStation.
well it does have a gen 4 SSD and 16 gb of RAM
The worst thing to happen to Sony in the last decade is Microsoft failing at running XBOX. Last time they were this cocky Microsoft smacked them down with the 360. But thanks to the clown show over there, Playstation thinks they don't have to worry. Sadly they are right.
I bought it on PC and put the original post in there
I didn't vote for him but I suspect quite a few dum dums on this site did.
I'm just happy I sprung for a 4090 when I did. I got it for 1300. I'm in the process of building a new pc right now in hopes of avoiding Trump's tariffs.
Lol sony already puts their stuff on everything that isn't an xbox or a switch so this comment is kind of weird.
Numbers aren't a reviewer problem they're a reader problem. Most people don't read reviews and only look at scores and aggregate scores.
I do not see the issue. If nothing changed and it was packaged as its own game people would not be complaining. Shadow of the Erdtree was a quality experience and people loved it. That is the point of it being there. We've come a long way from horse armor and map packs, what we got is essentially a 2nd Elden Ring campaign.
I'm glad they updated the info. I won the game on both Ps4 and PC but if I was going to replay it I would definitely wanna do that on the PC version. Here's my 10 bucks sony.
With it releasing so soon I doubt it. It would be super cool though.
With the way Sony has been acting this past generation if I didn't already have a PC this would be the far more attractive option. In fact I will get one just to have a PC in my entertainment center as opposed to running a 50 ft fiber HDMI cable from my desk.
