Problem with Microsoft is when it comes to iconic games you really only have a couple of franchises that come to mind. It doesn't matter if it's a new IP or not at this point. They need an identity.

Honestly if Sony continued to stick with ps4 and put out exclusives while the series x was out I think many would still stick with the ps4. Infact if I'm not mistaken the Xbox one x is much more powerful than the pro and most people still play on playstation.
I replied to someone who asked about pricing earlier. My only reason for thinking MS will beat Sony on pricing is because of reports stating that MS will seek to undercut Sony on pricing this gen. My guess is Xbox will launch first and for cheaper. While leaning heavily into the "Most powerful console for cheaper bit"
