Why the disagree? You could play with 2 people on the same screen in the DS version. Are you telling me that you actually believe the Wii is only twice as powerful as the DS? Give me a break.
This game should have a level editor and online level sharing. I can't believe that, in this day and age, it doesn't. Cut us gamers some slack, Nintendo.
What a joke.
"Of all the shocks out of Nintendo's E3 presentation, perhaps nothing was as shocking as the revelation that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is still happening"
wh...what
They put up a website for the game like a month or 2 ago and revealed a ton of new videos. Ugh, I hate uninformed journalists.
I can't believe anyone is saying Microsoft won. THey had terrible presenters, Cliffy's game glitched out and they had to end the presentation earlier, their main focus was multiplat games, and their motion tech looked tacky and bad. Sony's motion tech was definitely the coolest, most interesting. It did a great job showing just how accurate it is.
I love how its some sort of "WHOAH! BIG SURPRISE!!!" that Zelda wasn't shown at this E3, especially sine Miyamato was kind of just like "Yeah, we're probably not going to show it at E3" awhile back.
People that only cry "ZELDA! ZELDA! ZELDA!" are kind of douche bags, especially since TP and PH weren't anything special, and this new portable one coming out doesn't look great either.
"Believe it or not, “Annoying Old Party Man” predicted last night that Halo Reach would be revealed"
Yeah, as of last night, everyone knew that. It was revealed last night, with a story on N4G, actually. They had the achievements page. But I have a better source. A source who predicted the Metroid Trilogy and a new 4-player Mario game, before either were announced. And he said that Zelda wouldn't be making an appearance. I'd trust him over some guy that presented stuff ...
So... it was a 2.5D game that glitched-out half-way through the presentation? Why do people keep showing this unfinished products?
I can't believe it! Microsoft is making Nintenkids.
I sort of agree and disagree. On one hand, a good conference is good for gamers, and on the other hand, a bad conference is good for laughs! I hope it's not a mediocre conference :D
I think they could probably make the Starfox Adventure game that Rare aspired to make. By which I mean, a good one.
I don't get why people are disagreeing with you. It's just "NO!" and then they run away without even defending their point. Disagree trolls or deluded fanboys.
According to THQ themselves, the game has shipped over 700,000 units, and has sold more than 700,000.
"The Wii is just flooded with junk and all kinds of stuff"
"Here's the deal: there is so much junk on the Wii"
I love how THQ is actually part of the problem too. And yet the mindset this guy expresses is, "Well, yup, there's a lot of crap, and it's terrible! It's absolutely awful. I'm a firm believer in crap, so we're going to be producing more crap!"
"Bilson stressed that THQ is "supporting the Wii" and is planning...
Man, I can't wait for this game.
Or perhaps any exclusive at all!
Hah! Fat chance.
Year of the Wii right here.
I enjoyed all three of the above comments. Let's face it: all of the big 3 have had some terrible press conferences. In fact, last year it wasn't even about who won. It was about who lost the least.
Hopefully this year there's a better showing from all three. We should be gamers first, fanboys last.
Yep, Sam Naylor pretty much nailed it:
"Sam Naylor
E3 predictions are getting easier and easier. Microsoft will disappoint fans, Sony will disappoint fans, and Nintendo will disappoint fans.
But seriously, Microsoft will disappoint by announcing nothing of real value, Sony will disappoint by announcing okay stuff in an awful way, and Nintendo will disappoint with, well, whatever they announce. For people who aren’t fans, each company will have some ...
Yeah, they're going to show Pikmin 3 and maybe that new Mario which likely has 4 players. I don't know where people keep getting these ideas that a new Zelda is going to be announced at E3. Miyamato said it probably wouldn't be ready for E3, so I don't know why people suggest that more often than Pikmin 3.
Natal is just a gimmick. It's a $200 eyetoy. It's way too expensive, it's being released too late in the system's life, it was glitchy during the conference, and it's really gimmicky. I don't really see many uses for it for real games. If anyone upstaged Nintendo, it was Sony's purple pleasure device. That thing looked amazing. I think they should've saved it for next gen though. Revealing it half-way through this system's life is pretty dangerous. I don't think it will get the support - eith...
