Spoony, there's two different hardcore.
There's the hardcore this article is talking about... the people that like to play many different genres and styles of games, and genuinely enjoy most great games.
And then there's the type that claim to be hardcore gamers and don't really touch anything besides games with guns and violence, and who claim that Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Little King's Story are baby games.
2009 for the Wii is looking really great to t...
Oh Jesus, that sounded like an infomercial. The ones with those really cheesy women who say stuff like... well, exactly what Moore said.
Sorry, you must mean a "HARDKORE GAMURR!!!!!"
Yes, I think that's what you meant.
(protip: people like shia lebeouf are half of what's wrong with gaming today)
I think Project Natal is stupid, and it does rip-off a bit from Eyetoy, but it's obvious that this video was created by the most jaded Playstation fanboy.
...Why would you NEED to hold the Wiimote sideways with Motion+? I thought that the whole point of playing with the Wiimote sideways was so that the games wouldn't rely too much on precise motion controls, and could be played by pressing only a few buttons. There's simply very, very few (if any) cases where wielding the wiimote with motion+ sideways would make any sense, and I'm sure that another solution could prevent these circumstances.
I was gonna "HELL YEAR!" until I noted that it wasn't Mega Man 10 or Mega Man X9. Just another boring spin-off.
PS3 owners don't just want Muramasa... they want it on PSN, which is a ridiculous request. Just because the game is on the Wii and/or is 2-D doesn't mean it should be sold for $10 or $15 on the PSN or something. It'd ridiculous for a full-priced retail title.
I think you're right about the "entitlement" thing. There's a difference between wanting something and feeling like you're entitled to it. PS3 owners wanting it is fine, and understandable. The feeling of entitlement is kind of stupid and selfish though.
Obviously I meant an enhanced port. Updated visuals and such. I don't think there's any way they'd release a high-profile, normal-retail price Wii title on the PSN...
I think Capcom wants to wait and see how MH3 will do in the west before porting it to PS3. If it sells well in the West, they will probably port it to PS3. However, I don't think Japan counts for much... Monster Hunter is big enough there that if people want to play it, they'd just buy a Wii.
Hopefully both PS3 owners and Wii owners will get a chance to play this game though. It looks fantastic.
Holy crap, that is a NICE set! I hope it gets released in the Americas... and with Capcom stating that they really want to push Monster Hunter in the west, it just may happen! I'd get it.
She's smart. Slowtaku's not. Go figure.
Psssht, there are many way better Wii games than Zelda: Twilight Borefest. Try playing Wii games before you comment on them, or the lack of them.
If by "doesn't look to bad" you mean "it looks FREAKING AWESOME" then I agree. Hope it's this good or better for the American release.
I've never played a Monster Hunter game, but this'll be my first. I'm really looking forward to it.
Oh my god, I love these guys. Every interview with them is absolutely hysterical!
"There have been talks about a versus mode. Can you explain a little bit about this mode and if there will be any other modes like co-op?
Edmund: at the very least you can just give the 2nd controller to you girlfriend and tell her she controls the saws."
lol'd
I actually agree with Forrest Gump. I'm absolutely content with my Wii, and have more games than I have time to play and complete, and that situation is only worsening the older the Wii gets, but I would probably pick up a PS3 if I had the money. There are just a lot of interesting games out or coming out for it, and as a gamer first and foremost, I'd like to play these. But again, I lack money.
Gamers should really start liking consoles for the technology and games they offer. U...
Them's some pretty stupid expectations, bro.
It's about as much of an RPG as Legend of Zelda is.
<3 Vanillaware.
I can't wait to get Muramasa. It's going to be fantastic.
I can't wait for Muramasa, Little King's Story, Tatsunoko, Spyborgs, NSMBWii, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. Sin and Punishment 2, Monster Hunter 3, Tales of Graces, No More Heroes 2, Fragile, along with many others, are gonna be great too. 2010 looks like it just may be even better than 2009.
