Excitebots looks like a pretty solid game, but the minigames in it just really put me off.

Pay-to-play isn't confirmed in NA. It is for Japan, and it has always been so in Japan. I can see them doing it in Japan, because people will buy it anyways, but not as much in North America, where they're still trying to get Monster Hunter out there. It's possible that it'll happen in NA, but I think it would be a bad business move.

Also I lol'd when the guy that wrote the article called Ready 2 Rumble Revolution a "major exclusive sports title." Hahaha, what? It's about as much of a major exclusive title as Rocky and Bullwinkle was for the Xbox 360.

Actually, more often than I get called a Nintendo fanboy, I get called a Microsoft fanboy. It's especially funny considering the fact that I think that the 360 is the worst console investment this gen.
Eh, reminds me of Excite Bots. They said that game would be awesome and totally sweet and exactly what the hardcore were wanting, but it didn't interest me much (although it does look like a solid effort, with a few bad design choices). Hopefully it is something good though.

I think you can tell Nintendo's pumped about the upcoming titles. They didn't list any of the crappy shovelware titles bound to be coming -- and you know they will be coming more often than not. I'm looking forward to Cave Story and Super Meat Boy, although I'm a bit wary of the Icarian game.
Outside of Wii Play and Wii Music, Nintendo's games are nothing but quality. Metacritic disagrees with you. I don't know if this is supposed to be a joke account or what.
