150,000~ in one day isn't good?
Why? Punch-Out!! iisn't exactly a game that requires precision. There's basically 4 locations to attack, and 3 directions to dodge. Making it compatible with Motion+ would just be tacking it on.
Yup, essentially what menoyou said. It's not a matter of whether or not it can be done, because Wii Sports Resort goes to show that you CAN map 1:1 sword motions. It's just another instance of Ubisoft being effing lazy and stupid. What a goddamn terrible gaming company.
I've heard from a bunch of previews that the game isn't controlling very well at some spots. That, coupled with the fact that it's not using TRUE 1:1, put a real drain on the game for me. I hope that at least the first issue is fixed by the time it releases, but its release is so soon...

A disagree? Seriously? Well, I kind of expected it. However I don't know how anyone could disagree...
The first game was terrible, and this one will be too. I know, I know, some sequels are better than their first failed game, such as Killzone 2, but the Transformers game is gonna be just another terrible movie game made to make more money.
The fact that anyone is looking forward to this game more than Tatsunoko Vs Capcom is laughable. Not to mention all of the other fantastic-looking Wii titles coming, but Tatsunoko is a better comparison since it's the same genre.
Too bad the game is gonna be terribad.

Actually, Rockstar Table Tennis is available on the Wii as well.
To be honest, I think The Conduit is getting way too much flak... much more than it deserves. You pointed out that Halo 3 got a 5/5 and suffers from the same problems The Conduit does. This is mostly true. Halo 3's story is probably better than The Conduits, and its multiplayer options are more vast, but this is the Wii, and some people are judging this as if it's a PC shooter. I think it's just getting a lot of flak simply because it's on the Wii.
This re-birth of the 3D phenomenon is stupid. It died for a reason. It strains your eyes, you don't focus on as much of the screen, and you have to wear those stupid cumbersome glasses. Besides, the effects are mostly negligible. It's a stupid gimmick that should've stayed dead in the 90s.
I don't care about the score he gave it. Just the way he reviewed it. It was very unprofessional.
G4's review, which scored it worse, turned it from a "reluctant buy" to a "rent and see how it goes", however.
I don't think anyone cares about the score the game got. Everyone's up in arms over the reviewer being so ignorant and not even playing the full game.
It's a pretty bad review considering:
-The author compared its graphics to Goldeneye (come on, get real now. That's very unprofessional)
-He ragged on its COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE controls
-He never even played online multiplayer, one of its most-touted features.
What ever happened to honesty in gaming journalism these days? It's not an issue of whether the game got a 7/10 or not, that's irrelevant. Just that the review was very poor, the reviewee was very...
Oh god, I lol'd.
See, there's a difference between reviewing a game badly because it's bad and reviewing a game badly just to piss people off. This guy's obviously a troll. Personally, I couldn't give a rat's ass how well The Conduit does critically. He is honestly saying that the Conduit's graphics are comparable to that of Goldeneye's? The Conduit has pretty bad art direction, but there's no way anyone could seriously compare its graphics to Goldeneye, unless they're a jaded fanboy. This is just a terrible ...
Fantastic! XSeed is usually nothing but quality, and they've been treating the Wii owners VERY well. We have to treat them well back. Get Little King's Story and Rune Factory Frontier, guys!
This game symbolizes everything that's wrong with this generation of gaming. Sure it looks pretty good, but it's all so been-there, done-that. And people will keep ignoring Little King's Story and Muramasa. Sigh.
Maybe, if it wasn't released so late into the console's lifespan, and if it weren't priced at $200.
I'm a sucker for the "Tales of" battle system, so I'll be getting this game. ToS2 was a pretty bad game, but I enjoyed it. This looks like the proper "Tales of" game Wii owners have been needing. Looks fantastic.
They better take his suggestion. I don't want another goddamn stupid waggle-fest Zelda. I want a precision-type sword fighting game. Make it good.
