They're disagreeing because you are looking at the game positively. Fanboys are trying to do damage control right now, specifically the PS3 ones. I wish people would just enjoy playing games and not worry about what platform they are on.
Anyway, I'm going to buy Gears 3.
A beta would definitely be a good thing. The core gameplay elements of Gears of War are awesome, just a bit frustrating how they were implemented.
As far as changing something in the actual game, I would really like 4 player co-op.
Edit: Why so many disagrees? You guys don't want a beta to help the game run smoother and/or a 4 play co-op experience?
What does that have to do with this article?
Splinter Cell: Conviction and Alan Wake are probably the buys for me. Red Dead Redemption I think I'm going to GameFly.
I don't see why an owner wouldn't want the option. Sometimes it is better to put aside you fanboyism and keep your options open. It's it not really a big deal.
Well no s*** it might not be not be Gears, it could be anything. This article just reiterates the obvious.
Oh man =/
Well...I guess it is better than waiting until E3.
This game looks awesome, I will buy this.
I think most people who own a 360 have Halo 3 by now, but this is still kind of cool I guess. Microsoft is shutting down the original Xbox LIVE and the Halo: Reach beta is starting soon. Perhaps all those people stuck on Halo 2 will "Jump In".
Well to be honest, the 360 version is the best out of of the console versions. The Wii version of Netflix lacks HD, and the PS3 version you need a disc. At least of now you do anyway.
Obviously the PC version is better than any of the above mentioned platforms though. But when it comes to console Netflix, the 360 had the edge on this one.
Major got his account back. All I can say is, that guy is f***ed. He was stupid enough to upload videos and show his account and information bragging. M.S. will tear this guy apart.
You have no idea what you're talking about.
I will give credit to the PSP in that it has been Nintendo's only real competition in the hand held market until recently. However, your comparison between the PSP and the PS3 clash.
The PSP is not gaining any ground, is constantly getting beat up by the D.S. and will never outsell its main competition, the D.S.
The PS3 however has the potential to advance its position in its market and could possibly out sell ...
E3 2008 they showed off Gears of War 2, Fable II, NXE, Netflix, 1vs100, etc. They showed off a lot of stuff for the 360 that year. FF was just the end announcement.
Yeah I'm still waiting for GoWIII game from GameFly. It's the only game in my que currently, so it should be here shortly!
...I hope...
It is legit. I tried a different e-mail address, it only allows you to do it once. I'm sure people can find ways around that though.
Wasn't for me.
I can see where people that are into this kind of stuff would like it, but I am going to pass. To me it seemed more of a Wii HD than PlayStation doing its own thing. I guess someone could equally say that Natal is a beefed up Eye Toy, and it could be, but we haven't seen it fully demoed with actual retail games yet for the most part.
It's just not for me, a bit disappointing imo. Hope the people that buy it enjoy it.
When did M.S. say that?
Wasn't this to be expected though? I thought it was pretty obvious FF would sell more on the PlayStation 3 than the Xbox 360. JRPGs sell more on the PS3 and shooters sell more on the 360. Different genres appease different fan bases.
I would like to point out that it seems people like to diss VGChartz when the numbers they put out displease them, and when the numbers are "in their favor" they take them up and put them so everyone ca...
What the hell are you rambling on about?
Meh. Both look fine to me. I'm sure if you downloaded it or watched it on a HDTV you could see more difference, but no big deal. It's nothing really game changing.
I don't think the graphics would be the decider for choosing which copy I wanted. It would be whether I care about switching discs, trophies/achievements, etc.
It is due to the update I believe. It's more so Ubisoft's fault than Microsoft's.
It freezes for me right after I go to the weapons cache.
