I like the arcade style shooters better (Halo) than the "realistic" shooters. Especially with Halo because Bungie is top of the line with multiplayer experiences on consoles. They even helped Naughty Dog out with Uncharted 2's multiplayer.
It hasn't done terribly bad. It is estimated to have sold ~.58 million. With a couple years and a few DLCs it will top off around 1 million. Crackdown 1 did the same thing and it got a sequel. It all depends on what the fans want.
Remedy already said they would be up for it if Microsoft would be on board.
Everyone else for the most part is giving it great reviews. It is no surprise that Eurogamer is giving a lower score, like it does for most things.
Make him a badass with a bunch of near death experiences threw out the whole game and then have he die after the credits from something really lame like choking on an animal cracker.
All three would get a yes on that. All have their glitches and flaws, some more than others. They still all work though. At this point you're just trying to get me worked up though.
Yeah I see that. I'm sure some people will be drawn to the sphere, but I'm not sure if it will bring more people exactly.
And I like how fanboys are hitting disagree when everything I typed is factual.
This is a pretty misleading list. Granted it is suppose to make PS Move look better than the competition, but still. Here are a few things I had a problem with:
Buttons - Really? Ok I guess if you want to go that far into depth. Should we mention the 360/Wii don't have a glowing sphere either.
Built In Rechargeable Batteries - Kinect doesn't even need batteries. It has a direct power supply or is plugged into the 360. Irrelevant.
Seco...
The 360 is actually outselling the PS3 over all world wide. It doesn't necessarily matter where you sell your most consoles to a company, as long as they outsell the competition.
Actually that's not true. It outsold the PS3 in the Americas and world wide.
How the hell did this get passed?!
This is just a thread within' a forum about photoshopped boxarts. Granted they can be entertaining to watch, but it doesn't deserve a spot on N4G.
A wish a robot would fuck everybody's sister.
I'm not sure why I am commenting here. All I expect to see is Sony fanboys doing damage control and Xbox fanboys bragging.
It's a new version of a console and is going to be hard to find for awhile. Whether it's Sony fanboys angry because it puts the 360 in a positive light or 360 fanboys angry because they can't get one, that's how it is.
For reliability sakes and if you're interested in Kinect it is a good move. Not to mention you get a lot of extra space.
I think I was stick with the traditional controller on this game.
I'm a duel console owner of the 360 and PS3.
Having said that, I think it I'm tired of both companies (Microsoft and Sony) duing this exclusive DLC for multiplatform games. I think it is one of the cruelest things to do and really tears me apart as a duel console user. I wish they would focus more on games and services rather than exclusive (timed or not) DLC.
That's just how I feel anyway.
I'm surprised they didn't mention achievements at E3. Not one out of Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft can complain about each other copying one another. They have all done it at one point or another. I guess that's how a lot of industries work as a whole. It promotes competition and in the end, the consumer wins!
Would have been better if it wasn't a scripted event just to bash Microsoft and Sony.
It still was entertaining though.
Just show me games and I'll be happy. That goes for any console. The Motion control things are fine and all, just don't focus everything on it.
I hope Microsoft shows a teaser trailer for the new Alan Wake DLC due out this fall.
