They just released 2 new free games on XBLA.
Kinect Sports is actually a really well done game. It's one of the most polished Kinect games by far. Rare did a great job with the game.
Isn't this fairly old news? I was under the impression they were making a spin off title, not a direct sequel in the main franchise. I'm pretty sure Activision is going for what Nintendo and Microsoft have done with their top franchises (Halo and Mario) and are going to have familiar characters but different game genres.
If it's an action adventure game like Uncharted I would be pretty interested.
I own the game as well there Pyscho_Mantis. I'm up for playing anytime, gamertag is in the profile. It's a great game.
Some how I doubt that based on your name and your past comment.
Halo: Reach is a great game. I still am waiting for the return of Master Chief, but Halo: Reach wasn't disappointing. That's based on reviews, sales and how much it is played on Xbox LIVE.
I'm a 360 gamer and I think it's a good game :(
I don't think they necessarily think it is a bad game, it just doesn't fit the taste of a big portion of the 360's audience. I had one other friend play it and he likes it as well. It's just shame that most games have to have some co-op or multiplayer element to be successful now days.
But things are looking good for Alan Wake 2 so :)
Im really not trying to brag about sales, I could care less really which game sold more than the other. I'm just simply trying to point out that the game really didn't do that bad at all and it's likely we're going to see more Alan Wake in the future.
Not sure what you mean by "you guys". Alan Wake is a pretty good game I recommend you check out if you can.
Uh Alan Wake didn't sell too well initially but by word of mouth it has around ~1 million sales according to some estimates. The game was not only released on Games on Demand on the Xbox 360, but the ending of the last DLC heavily hints at a sequel.
The game actually did alright with sales and it looks like the IP is here to stick around.
That was actually pretty cool.
I believe they shipped 1 million in U.S. not sold. Still good though. I doubt it sold 2 million in EU.
Played the whole game including the two downloadable episodes. The game is fantastic and they really set it up for a sequel. In a way it is good that they're stopping DLC because it heavily hints to them working on a full new retail game. Not to mention the ending of The Writer...
Well by VGChartz estimates it is around 750,000 world wide sales. Even if it were to be only a fraction of that the game is great and obviously some people played it considering the first commenter and myself bought the DLC.
Not to mention the end of the DLC heavily points towards a sequel so it looks like a bright future for Alan Wake.
I like how he says he is doing all of this to protect the troops and children from inappropriate material and then he turns right around and tells a lot of gamers to go to hell. How many troops/children do you think play video games Jack? Oh yeah, a lot.
Alan Wake DLC is mine. I'll try out the Comic Jumper demo and see how I feel about it. Other than that I'm not too much interested.
She's not ugly, but I wouldn't consider her that hot. Her face/voice is what killed it for me. I'm sure she is a very nice girl though.
1.) Opinion is great for discussion, this is just a poorly written article. It's not well written out opinion which is what I have been saying from the start. It's fine to say things like "I think Halo: Reach isn't going to outsell Halo 3". You should just be able to back that up with a lot more solid things than this guy did.
2.) VG Chartz is fine, I use it myself. That comment wasn't so much directed at you as it was the "PS3 Fanboys" jum...
It's obviously an opinion, but it is a pretty piss poor opinion. The guy hardly tries to back up what he thinks.
This is what I'm saying, these kind of articles are useless. Pretty much anyone with a blog now days can write up some bs, not back it up, submit it and fanboys will go wild. Of course you can block these but still.
No, I am not the reason for that label, far from it.
What a terrible "article". The guy uses little facts to back up his claims and openly says he is basing this all off of generalizations.
For the "PS3 fanboys" he based Halo 3's sales off of a site called "vgchartz". While I'm ok with that in the past you guys have constantly touted that site as "B.S." and not a good source for sales. Especially when they report sales in favor of the Xbox 360. If you want to go with Vgchartz th...
Perhaps a Beta. When you buy a copy of Gears of War 3 you get a beta for Bulletstorm?!
What are you talking about? You're making a big deal out of almost nothing. People switch around in the electronics and gaming industry all the time. For example Ken Kutaragi (Father of the PlayStation) was replaced years ago, yet Sony has one of its strongest line ups to date for the year of 2011. Bill Gates (Founder of Microsoft)stepped down not too long ago and the Xbox had it's biggest year in it's history.
