Unless he's like you and ONLY PLAYS EXCLUSIVES. Which will mean no basketball, no football, no GTA, no Battlefield, none of that. Just games about a young pubescent boy and his griffin or games about a stuffed toy. No disrepect to people that like those types of games.

LOL, so now everyone wants CoD on their system. On the PS3 they wish for it to go away but on the PSP its God's gift.
If you hate the game on a big screen, don't think a small screen will make it any better. You are still gonna hate it. Still Gonna have the quick control, perks, killstreaks, fast paced, chaotic gameplay that you hate, but that i love though.

That's what i was saying. I always think everyone started gaming when i did but i'm realising the majority of gamers are early 20's and teens. Sounds crazy, but I think most gamers now grew up on 3d games and NOT sidescrollers!!!

3d gimmick? So on the PS3 its an amazing feature but on that other company's hardware its a gimmick? Even though people who have played it are amazed by it and say it actually adds to the experience?

why compare a game about virtual pets to an action game like uncharted? I think nintendogs is aimed at a much different audience and will do just fine, easily past 15 million most likely. the last one did over 20 million i think.
I'm not that big a fan of uncharted, so i want to see what else they have. I will be interested to see if they incorporate the psp2 hardware into a phone that isn't huge though. That's the only way i will buy a handheld. I don't want...

Or you can just play the other games that come out that aren't exclusive. Just cause a game is exclusive doesn't mean its better than everything else. Its pretty obvious that people who just play games can care less if a game is exclusive or not. If they did, exclusive games would be at the top of the PS3 and 360 sales charts... which they MOST DEFINITELY are not.
You need to play games that are fun, not cause they have a "only for *insert console*" logo on...

They are two different kinds of games for two different kinds of moods. When i want fast action CoD, when i want more methodical gameplay, KZ3.
Its like watching a shoot em up (like shoot em up, lol) action film and watching a more detailed thinking film (like shotter island)

When you just want pure unrestrained chaos, nothing else came close. Nothing STILL doesn't come close for when you just want chaotic action.

you have got games like wii sports where you do one thing e.g. bowl, and that's it, nothing deeper.

If you try to protect your kid from everything that is POTENTIALLY dangerous you would keep them in a bubble. No running, no dirt, no food, no contact with other humans, no contact with animals, no nothing.
That seems rather dumb. seeing as the 3ds is revolutionising the game with glasses less 3d and the fcat that many of her friends will have it with the new games which can be linked. Will suck to be the only one in school not sharing and battling pokemon and instead playing gta 5 or something that the kids at school won't care about.
Not to mention, most likely the 3ds will be cheaper and will use batteries at a less alarming rate, and because its lower spec than the psp2...

I would think if you are so hardcore you would play all three. Cause Halo, Gears, Alan Wake are also "hardcore".
