actually i ask the question every few hours. i check about twice a day to see if its up. At first it wasn't too bad but now its getting REALLY annoying. I have a lot of friends overseas that I play FIFA with and we haven't been able to for the past two weeks. And now it looks like another week again.
At this rate the summer will go by before PSN is up again. I don't play games everyday, maybe just 3 times a week. So if i am annoyed, i can imagine how the "ha...

I still think they did just cause of all the kids laughing at them and saying they weren't smart enough to do anything other than denial of service attacks. People were just feeding their ego.

New PC should be in by sept. I haven't upgraded in 7 years, but this one game (along with rfactor 2) made me decide this is the year.
That's why i like forge. What i did in Halo 3 was remove every obstacle and just make a big empty room for multiplayer. It was big open square with weapons all over the place and nowhere to hide. i called it "the sauce" lol.
I'm actually surprised that shooters have yet to add a level editor seeing as Halo3 came out in 2007. The things forge are capable of creating are amazing.

The fact is, the game is a quick fix of fun that appeals to a lot of people. Its fine if its not your style and you rather maybe Crysis or Killzone, but the majority of people just don't.
And just out of curiosity, if you hate COD so much why do you keep playing every one and clicking on their articles? I cant stand MK, hence the reason i have ever bought another one since MK2, ha...

You should maybe move to Monaco or somewhere else that there aren't any poor people to annoy you. That way you can keep all of your money to yourself and not have any pesky less fortunate to help.
I don't think its fair to lump all poor unemployed people into a category of people etting what they should not. Sure, some of them maybe are lazy about finding a job but there are a LOT, as in MILLIONS of people pounding the pavement evryday trying to get a job who were not as lucky as you to have money as a kid growing up to afford a console or a PC, even to put food on the table every night.

If you are a private person and you provided your information in good faith so that it will be kept from the world, and you have proof that Sony portrayed to you that it would be kept safe, and they did not do all that is practicable to keep that info safe, then yeah, you may have a case.

I'm surprised people actually use a 'real' email address for PSN. i just use a spam -e-mail for that stuff. XBL, PSN, porn sites....i just use a gmail account that i never check anyway cause i know when you sign up for stuff online your inbox gets FLOODED
When you think about it, it was all the people on the message boards taunting them. When they did the DDOS, everyone here laughed at them and said they couldn't do anything more, and they are so sad by just doing something any ten year old could do etc.....
Maybe they had to show what they could do if they really wanted to. Since this one has proved beyond a doubt they are quite skilled hackers and not just some kids who can "only do a denial of service attack" ...
Single player is WAYYYY less fun. Its much more fun to go into a room and have fun with people all chatting together than play against emotionless AI.
GT5 is a great example of that. racing the AI is boring a hell. They never defend, they hardly go for the difficult pass. Mistakes are very rare. Not anywhere near as fun as multiplayer. Especially multiplayer with buddies.
Need PSN back up. fed up of playing the computer.
