Blue ray discs are not scratch proof, they are actually coated with a protective solution that makes them scratch resistant.

Also if you had a bunch of digital download games on an hdd and the hdd fails years up the road after the games in question are no longer available commercially you are up the creek without a paddle if you want to play any of those games again(unless you find someone else that has "said" games). I am not saying that the security breach regarding sony is not important, but it seems like congress is more concerned with this incident regarding sony than their own backyard of wasting trillions in bailouts(without any company except chrysler responsible for paying the money back), congressional bribery and perks, oil subsidies, congressional lobbyists, out right violations of Americans constitutional rights and freedoms(ie: the supposed war on terror), etc... the list goes on and on.
Why even write an article like this, it is common sense that sony is going to obviously implement a new firmware update due to the problem that previously occured. If anyone believed that sony would not include a firmware update when psn goes back online is completely gullible.

I remember playing rush rush rally racing on the dreamcast a while ago. Since its a mini it will probably be no more than a few bucks, so I will probably get it when it is released. It was an alright game, and it is an appropiate game for a mini. If it is only a few bucks you might want to pick it up to support indy developers.

That is good to hear, but wouldn't it be better to just cancel the card a.s.a.p, then get a new card reissued and not have to worry about screening your account every 5 minutes. My main card that I use is my visa bank card so this is very good news, I should know within a few weeks if any fraudulent charges on my old card were made, but I am pretty sure no fraudulent charges occurred. Now I just have to wait for my new card to arrive.
