What happens if my copy gets accidentally deleted due to a hdd malfunction on my ps3?
Will I still be able to re-download it off of my account(will it still be on my psn account)?
After months of sitting on my shelf(due to my video game backlog and also I just did not feel like playing the game through that whole time) I just finished uncharted: drakes fortune in a few sittings. It was a pretty good game, I wish it was a longer game but it was not a short game either.
Sometime in the next couple of days I am going to start uncharted 2: among thieves. I hear that it is a great game and I cant wait to play it soon.
@mac_sparrow-
Nonsense, I usually can find deals online or retail on new console or pc games a few weeks to a few months after they are released, and the deals are usually at least $20 off or more. In the meantime I have plenty of other games I have yet to play through until the deals appear for games that I look forward to getting.
You don't have to wait a few years like you say, you just have to wait and look for deals for games that you want instead of plunking...
When they come out with a limited edition of this game that includes all of the nazi zombie maps in total that is made for this game then I will buy a copy, otherwise it is a waste to buy this edition. I will just wait until this game sells for $20-$30 or less and includes a map pack bundle(online or on disc) that includes all of the nazi zombie maps that are made for this game.
What were they thinking to come out with an edition that only includes part of the dlc for this ga...
I had seen this deal online through the ad, so I planned a trip to the nearest "toys r us" store to take advantage of the deal. Then I went on their website to get the address of the nearest store which was at least 20 miles round trip from where I live and there was no mention of a misprint about the ad on their website.
Thinking that the deal was still good I made the trip and only found out about the mishap WHEN I ARRIVED THERE, THERE WERE NO NOTICES ABOUT THE MI...
I have heard one of their lame excuses is they want to make sure there are game discs inside the shipment of games that they receive or some other bologna like that. I can tell if a game is inside a sealed game case just by tapping on the game case and hearing the noise the disc makes as a result of tapping the case at the disc part so I don't know what they are trying to pull with me.
There are 2 gamestop stores and a target located within a few minutes of each other(walking distance) and for the most part the staff at both gamestop stores are cool, though there were a few instances that occurred at one of the gamestop stores but they were resolved rather quickly due to mistakes on gamestop's part.
Anyway, if any gamestop employee tried this with me concerning a game they know that I will just go buy the game at any of the other stores. I am glad that...
@AnimeAvenger
"Maybe GT5 if I only had a PS3."
(^)Says the scarecrow from the wizard of oz.
-Lol.
Since I have both games on the psp I am going to wait a while for a price drop before I get this collection for my ps3. These are great games and I highly recommend them to anyone to get this collection for ps3.
I played chains of olympus which was excellent and a must have for any psp owner, and I do have ghost of sparta but I have not gotten around to really playing it because of 1 reason:
1) I prefer to play video game series(in general) in chronological o...
@lunaluagua.
Agreed.
That is why I don't buy used games online from gamestop because I don't know what I am getting. If I am going to buy from gamestop I will go to one of their retail stores, that way I make sure that I am buying a game(s) in complete condition(ie: game case, game box art insert, manual, and the condition of the disc is in decent-good condition).
I only buy from gamestop if they they have good deals on games like buy...
@na-no-nai
I guess that is true to a point in which they would have to pay sony some royalties for every game released, but saying that sony had all or even half of the rights is a little exaggerated.
What makes me question the playstation ordeal is why didn't nintendo renegotiate the deal with sony? I am sure sony would have been more than willing to renegotiate with nintendo since both companies poured so much into the project for a number of years. In...
I usually watch dvd movies on my dvd player and watch blue rays, play video games, and watch some videos on youtube on my ps3 when I don't feel like booting up the pc. I only own 2 blue-ray movies atm so I hardly play movies on my ps3.
Not too long ago though I lost my remote to my dvd player and I tried a few universal remotes to get it to work(one of them was a new model that was made by the same company that made the dvd player) on my dvd player but none of them worked...
I have a ps3 already so I have plenty of stuff for it, and besides it would be better if they just applied the discount so that you can spend the money that you saved anywhere you want. Still though that is a pretty good incentive to buy a ps3 regardless if it is in the form of a gift card. I have been looking for a second ps3, sadly I don't have the money atm.
It would be nice if they would allow you to apply that discount to the ps3 upon purchasing the console.
If sony encourages it than why don't they create a program that utilizes creating homebrew games from the ground up, and little big planet and mod nation racers don't count because those types of programs are not what I am referring to. I am referring to a program that is more in-depth than little big planet and mod nation racers and are not bound by certain rules like little big planet and mod nation racers are.
@Active Reload
-That was not what I was trying to imply, you need to look at my whole comment with an unbiased perspective and not just notice the ps3 part of it. You would notice that I included both the the ps3 and the wii-u as being powerful so I don't know where you get your assumption of me only saying that the ps3 is powerful.
But lets face it there are many articles that are around the internet that claim that the ps3 is technically a super compute...
@A7XEric
It has been mentioned numerous times that the ps3 is basically technically a super computer with its powerful cell processor and the wii-u is supposedly more powerful than even the ps3 and both of them support the large capacity blue-ray format(in one way or another) in which each blue-ray disc can hold 25 gb or more of data.
So I highly doubt that it is a space or performance issue or any other issue for that matter that would prevent this game from running...
excerpt from article:
"We can't say it's really only next-gen." he said, "We need to reconsider the target platform because I have a very specific idea of that game. On high-end PCs we can already play the game, but it's very hard to say 'we'll cut that, that and that to make it fit into another platform'"
- Where have we heard about devs cutting content in order for a game to fit on a certain disc medium in order to play a ...
First off before I say anything about this subject I just want to state that I don't care about fanboy's, or fanboy wars, or sales numbers etc...
-It seems like sony has better support for the vita than they did for the psp when it launched. I have read articles that the 3ds sold less than expected since its launch which is probably because either people just don't have the money atm, or people were holding out to see what sony was offering with their new handheld...
I suspect the main reason on why this law is being passed is because it would only be violating the constitutional rights of every american. The e.s.r.b already informs parents about games so why should we need this law.
I would not let a 4 year old play a gta game, but I certainly don't like a law like this dictating an american parent on what they can or cant buy their children. I played violent games in my younger years(about 7-10 years old is when I started if you d...
