I am reading some of these comments and I cant help but laugh at some of the comments from xbot fanboys. I remember back in 2007 and early 2008 the xbots where making it a point that great first party exclusive games for a particular console where the most important thing to a gamer, and that for a while they said the ps3 had no games. Some even went to hilarious ubserdities by comparing both xbox 360 and ps3 third party games underneath a magnifying glass and point out things that were not i...
It is the spiritual sequel to burn zombie burn.

Sony:
Imo sony had the best year as far as games go and value for the money. Yeah they screwed up with the psn security breach that lasted a little over 3 weeks, they should have had all of the important customer info on separate servers and have a second password to finalize purchases(that password would be stored on those separate servers) to prevent any kind of breach of that nature.
Nintendo:
On the nintendo front I don't see a lot of AAA games coming ...
12/23 is the day.
Look what happened to resident evil 5 when capcom felt that they had to include co-op. I have read up on the original version of resident evil 5(It was a very different game and it did not have co-op as a main part or any part of the game for that matter) and it was a lot better than what was officially released.
I don't think cloud gaming will ever take off even if the conditions were perfect.
It just does not make sense on why some people like to limit their consumer rights by investing in a service like this. Besides, you have to invest in an expensive internet service upgrade just to have this service function properly.
Let's say for example you decide to make the expensive investment just to access the service, and then throughout the course of time you h...
@ARBitrator:
You missed more than a "here or there exclusive", the fact is that you missed a bunch of exclusives on the ps3 side like all 3 resistance games, uncharted 1 and 2, heavy rain, gran turismo 5, all 3 mortor storm games, killzone 3, the rachet and clank series, infamous 1 and 2, little big planet 2, ninja gaiden sigma 1 and 2, metal gear solid 4 etc.. need I go on?
I don't care about the console war, but I just thought that I point that out.
Excerpt from article:
"Man, all this talk of awesome games makes me want to … wait, when did my PlayStation 3 turn itself on?"
- LOL but true. The fanboys will be in a frenzy. I still think the console war is stupid, but it does provide entertainment imo. A good way to end the article.
A lot of people say that the sega cd was a terrible console but I tend to disagree. It did not have a lot of good titles, but the good titles that it had made it worth owning the sega cd. It had at least 10-20 good titles that were worth hanging on to.
If sega would have just opted to make better hardware and the price lowered for the system and to not put too much emphases on making fmv games I think things would have turned out better for the sega cd.

The nes, ps1, genesis, snes, neo geo mvs/aes, and pc are probably the most influential for me.
@remanutd55:
Thanks anyway, but I don't have proof anymore because they changed the listing price to $59.99.
Motorstorm is back to $59.99. I was planning to pick it up for $5 too, oh well.
I plan on getting this game(I own all other gran turismo titles), but I am on a budget so I will wait for another price drop to decide to get this game.
excerpt from article:
"By now most launch model PS3 20GB, 60GB, and the slightly newer 40GB and 80GB fat models have gone belly up"
I bought my 80gb metal gear solid 4 bundle ps3(is ps1 and ps2 bc) on launch day and have used it on a daily basis for the most part, I have put it through long gaming sessions that last multiple hours regularly, and it has incurred a few physical mishaps and it still works good. When I first got it I put it through long...
I hope that they fix the physics and get it right this time. Also I hope that they add a bigger volume of content(like more stages) because episode 1 seemed pretty bare bones for a sonic game, especially at the $14.99 launch price that episode 1 was.
I would like to get this game but I think that I will wait for the goty edition of the game to come out before getting it. That way most of the bugs/glitches will be ironed out and I will get the game + all of the dlc at a discounted price. Besides I have a gamers backlog pile of shame to keep me busy until then.
The idea that dlc was planned and being made before the game released really tells you something. And the whole bs excuse of "you don't have to buy the dlc if you don't want it" is inexcusable. The fact of the matter is that this dlc would have probably been originally part of the original game but was cut to sell as dlc not to long after the game released.
The fact that some people defend this shady type of business tactic deserve their wallets emptied more...
For $53.49 for the goty edition you are not really saving much vs. buying the standard edition and then buying the dlc. I have the standard edition but I will be skipping this because other than a few extra characters and skins the goty edition really does not have much more to offer.
This is a good game , but for people that have not yet picked mk9 up I suggest to wait until the goty edition gets price dropped to $30.
I mean if it was a goty game that offered subst...
It is second nature for me to not buy games on launch day, hardware is a different story though. I usually wait until the game drops to at least 2/3 to 1/2 price before I consider getting it. And by the time I get a game any bugs/glitches are probably fixed/patched
Besides, who has the disposable income in this bad economy to plop down $60+tax for each game? I know I don't. On rare occasions when you get a new game system and there is barely any games out yet at that time...
To the people that are against torrenting a game I will tell you a true story that happened to me a year or 2 ago. I torrented a few games to try them out, they were called left 4 dead 1 and 2. I liked them enough of what I played of both of them(they both operated smoothly on my pc) to go out and buy a copy of each game.
Both games required me to download the steam client and so I did. Then I proceed to continue where I left off in the first left 4 dead game and within 10-1...
