@Ju Totally agree with you. I mean, my reaction to such a thing is I wouldn't buy it and voice my opinion but the backlash has been almost crippling to Ubisoft. I don't want that company to burn in flames when they tried to deliver a grand game for us (though they failed to ship it in the right state).
I was upset about it because I bought the game and thought it was unplayable. As of now for me it IS playable. If they're gonna polish it up then fantastic! I'...
@esemce
Interesting how you choose to attack me and say this thing happened because of people like me. I'd like you to elaborate. How is this so and how am I the cause?
You seem to work out of anger which is okay but how is it helpful to continue to be angry when a person has apologized and is taking steps towards amending their actions?
Also, they did not take your money, you gave it away. I'm not defending the mistake they did but ...
I understand how people were upset with how the game was shipped and I'm one of them. But Ubisoft are now at present dedicating their time to address our concerns and that is the best apology they can give. They are also doing it in a transparent way by telling us and updating us on what they're doing.
I just would like us to take a step back and commend them for what they are now doing. Forgiveness is everything.
I just want to add how much I appreci...
That was touchingly beautiful :)
Not sarcastic
I love it. Its not perfect but did I have a blast? Hell yes! One of the best videogame experiences I've ever had and a love letter to all horror games.
Not sure why people say its not scary? I mean, compared to what? I find it as scary as any other horror game and I'm generally not a person to be scared. I'd say its tense and creepy.. but isn't what scary is in games?
Any way, over analyzing aside (it can ruin the fun) ITS AWESOME!!
Its simply awesome when playing on the pitch especially when compared to FIFA. That's about 85% of what I need to know.
Hey, ND.. we have the same taste in games. Still thinking about picking up Assassins? I say just wait for a patch, i know its tough :) Actually, I can hook you up for Shareplay if you wanna try (if connection is good)
U can add me for some sweet PES! PSN: nylonsquid
I agree with you. I played Last of Us at 30 even with the 60 choice. It IS more cinematic for me. I don't need twitchiness for it. However I do want 60 in other games like fighting and sometimes racing. Grid was 30 and it was beautiful. Gran Turismo is about accuracy so I wouldn't want it in 30. Just depends on the game I think.
"like Destiny, even after"...
What the hell?? Stop saying someone else did it so we're not alone crap. No, its not the online complex BS we're talking about, its about how I can't climb down a church without being stuck in the wall and about how NPCs fall from the sky! Ughgh... just FIX IT and say sorry!
Its a masterpiece. I can't stop playing it. What's wrong with people?? I don't understand why they can't see what I'm seeing in it?! But to go to the length and call it horrible???!! Been gaming since Atari and arcades and this is one memorable game. Horrible????!
Game of the year for me and I've played'em all.
Played the game last night. The glitches and all were awful. I'm very put off and would be ashamed of myself if I was Ubisoft.
I bought it against what others have said. Some said it wasn't that bad and I'm one of those that doesn't mind the 30fps cinematic excuse. Hell, it can dip down to 25 fps and I might pass if it happened occasionally. But let me tell you, ND.. this game is a mess, a beautiful one. The coders messed it up for the art team who built a beautiful city. But the texture pop ins, the bps glitches, the frame rate... oh man... its a total embarrassing mess and I'd be mad pissed if I wor...
@vishmarx
Well put. Also I love you for calling Evil Within goty. Its mine!
Not to deter too much but I never felt Evil Within was bad at all. It runs at 30fps and isn't that glitchy if at all. Its just clumsy I guess.
ACU on the other hand is a complete beautiful mess!
Yea, sad to say I was sold on Unity's scope and detail that I preordered it a week or 2 before release. I tried cancelling but it didn't work. I still want to play it but being unsupportive of this treatment of companies overrides me wanting to play it. I guess I was suckered.
I really liked what Konami did this year with PES2015. They were very transparent and showed the game as it is with a demo, then took a month or more to make sure the game is good before releasing it alongside FIFA and rushing. They let everyone play it to know what theyre in for and it showed confidence in their product. They even gave copies to Youtubers and told them they can show any part of the game however way they please.
None of that 'protective PR' crap!
@abzdiine
Got it yesterday and had some fun matches! I also skipped last gen and hoping to have fun like the ps2 days. So far its great. Don't think the graphics or options are mind blowing, and passing seems a tad slow even when you have the ball trapped. If this is the start then I have extremely high hopes for next year because the gameplay overall is immense fun! Way better than FIFA to me
@jhoward585
Yea, man! Imagine punching someone through smoke and have the smoke effected? Even light beams through smoke that get disturbed and just have dust effects when punching? Would add sooo much more. At this point from what I see in the video, sometimes there's hardly cast shadows...
Been a fan since Tekken 1 but this looks a bit better than Tekken 6. Might not be enough for me to pick up. I've only skipped Tekken 4 in the franchise.
I...
Terrible idea. I don't know where to begin counter discussion. I'll begin and end on 'no competition'.
Yea, they've went over and beyond to address the issues and show their apology. That's admirable. To be clear, it is admirable to own to your mistake and take steps to rectify it at their expense. Good stuff and a good start to rebuilding the damage caused to Ubi's name.
