I would have rather had the cell shading style of the original instead of this Disney poster shadow rendering. Original felt "dirtier" and "gritter".
Happy to see Jimbo again though. I'll stick to my SNES version. I prefer it over the HD.

You did the right thing. I'm crazy about Killzone so I read all articles and they are all the same. It's nice to hear an opinion on controls and 3d. I'm still curious if the guns recoil in the same manner as KZ2. I don't want it to be dumbed down lots but I understand if they're making it 'smoother'.

it does seem faster or at least the sense of speed is faster. I was surprised looking at the video as it looked pretty darn fast at just 150m/h which by GT standards still feels slow. However, this particular track adds to the sense because it's a narrower street and has lots of objects (trees) right next to the road which defintely helps in making you feel objects whizzing by you. I thought of Metal Gear Solid too but it has a wicked ring to it and DID in fact make the game very intrigueing. All the time I wanted to see this "Metal Gear" thing! Heck it's the title! So, it worked for me. XD
I prefer the "8bit" look. It still is charming and the mosaic art style just feels tighter to me. I won't be getting this remake. If they'd release the original I'd pick it up fo sho.

I don't think these will be called but I always pray. I'm realistically hoping for KZ3 but I would be more than happy with a new Siren or better yet a new Colony Wars. That first ship explosion made is what sold me on picking a PS1.
There were 2 different lighting/color schemes. The one on the Nurburgring was more muted and desaturated than the rest. It had cooler colors as well as the red car wasn't "popping" red. I personally like those colors more. I hope they're in the game and not a video filter just for the trailer.

Im KZ crazy and was much anticipating the first one but I have to admit, it was disappointing. Even now I go back to it (I like going retro) and can't really get into it. Saying it had good graphics isn't really true either. Just look at Metal Gear 3 and Black. Anyway, KZ2 is fantastic and the third's trailer blew me away.
