Why would they be happy? Once that first prompt comes up “You’ve reached your daily monster slaying quota, please wait 24 hours or pay $600 Diablo dollars to kill more monsters. Click here to purchase more Diablo dollars” people will just uninstall the game.
What fan base? I think Blizzard fans realized the old Blizzard is gone and Activision has reared it’s ugly head. I don’t think Blizzard has fans anymore after this announcement.
I gave mobile a chance many times and it has always let me down, so no thanks. Sell me a $60 PC/console experience. Namely Warcraft 4, there hasn’t been a new entry in 16 years for that franchise. I’m fine waiting for next gen for my next Diablo experience.
Windows
Taking blood out means I'm done with this game. Sorry Ubisoft but that is how it is. I liked Rainbow Six for what it is, not what for what the Asian market will allow. Big mistake.
The real question is how do we deal with social justice warriors stinking up the internet with idiotic articles like this one?
The criticism is fair. Diablo fans want a $60 complete game, and I would highly doubt that will be the case with this game. It'll be free to play with crappy microtransactions that when successful will likely leak into the business model for Diablo 4. Better to get angry over it now and hope they learn something from fans. Maybe that way Diablo 4 is saved.
I'm much more upset over a Warcraft 3 Remaster myself, Warcraft hasn't seen a game in 16 years, why aren't we seeing a new one?
Gears wacky customization options has ruined its dark and gritty feel, it’s ruined the franchise, at least in the multiplayer arena. Halo is still great, Master Chief collection is awesome and so is Halo 5.
Not sure how allowing people to play PUBG on Xbox is betting on a dead horse, but that’s Sony fanboy logic in action for sure.
Diablo can wait, it’s relatively new. Focus should be on Warcraft 4.
Anyone who doesn’t rank Halo: CE number 1 doesn’t know Halo.
Halo Reach was broken, ODST was lame, and Halo 3 has terrible netcode.
What is to worry over? Don’t we basically know a next gen PlayStation is coming, and that is it?
Ugh, where the hell is Warcraft 4?
Have fun getting your hard work shut down like every other similar project.
There are bigger issues the CoD community should be worried about, namely they’ve been playing the same game on the same engine for a decade.
You are paying for a license to play the game whether digital or physical. The company still owns the game.
P.T. wasn’t a game, nor something you paid for.
Steam is a one trick pony, it's a slow sinking ship at this point.
