Microsoft is just aware VR is little more than tech demos at this point, no reason to jump on board until the tech provides a great experience, and we are years away from that still.
I’d like to hear some next gen news or teasers. I got a feeling next Xbox is going to practically be a PC, with the increasing PC like architecture and Windows integration in Xbox One it’s only logical to assume the next Xbox will give you both the console experience as well as full PC game compatibility. Since Steam is not doing great, it could be a good move to bring the service to the next gen Xbox.
I’m the other way around. I got to that like giant turtle house in God of War and I’m bored out of my mind and haven’t touched it in 6 months or more.
It’s Red Dead without question, nothing in years has come close. Not just GotY, but Game of the Generation.
Yeah, it’s certainly no secret now that gaming journalists are in bed with developers. They are giving CNN a run for their money when it comes to objective journalism.
Nice, take the talented devs off of the triple A projects and put them on worthless mobile games no one wants to play... this story just gets worse and worse every day.
It’s a trap! They are going to try and sell you the game at a discounted price right before they announce the release of the trilogy so you end up buying it twice.
How to handle a triple A developer when it decides mobile games are more important: Stop supporting the company with your money.
Nice I’m glad I haven’t had a chance to play yet, hopefully all the bugs are ironed out and now X enhanced means I should have the best experience possible when I finally do play it. Bought it real cheap several months back.
Played every iteration of VR available, every one left me with the conclusion it still isn't where it needs to be. Fun to try, pointless to own.
"After closer examination of the Asian video game market we decided to remove guns entirely in this expansion. Instead we replaced them with paintball guns that shoot bright green paint. None of these changes will have an impact on gameplay."
ODST wasn't good and they flat out lied about how the game would be priced, it only released as a $60 game because the Halo name was attached to it when it was originally like a $30 add-on. Besides the mobile games it's easily the worst entry to the franchise. It's better than Destiny though lol!
What did RE7 have to do with the cloud? I know it had Xbox Play Anywhere functionality which was fantastic for a 3rd party game but that isn’t cloud related I don’t think.
Here come the flip flopped opinions of PUBG. I’m excited to take advantage of new players, gonna have to open up a KFC will all the extra chicken dinners I’ll be receiving on PS4.
VR still has a long long way to go. I’d wait too until it is ready before implementation. Though if people want to beta test VR for the next few years I see no issue in offering that option for them.
Yuck. Fortnite sucks. Don't try to be Fortnite. Don't partner with a movie that tanked hard.
Well mobile isn't the genre they needed to step in to.
Call of Duty style regenerating health is a dated, unrealistic mechanic. It's a breath of fresh air to do something different.
Probably not. Foreign markets aren’t overly fond of Xbox. It’ll do great in the US though at that is the largest gaming market by far. It’ll certainly do better that the Xbox One. I also believe this next gen will be unlike any other and won’t be able to be judged purely on consoles sold, things will be different, streaming and subscriptions are going to go mainstream.
Will it be compatible with Warcraft 4? Oh you aren’t making Warcraft 4? You’re repackaging 16 year old games and switching to mobile? Go to hell Blizzard.
