Doesn't make sense to me, winning a round of PUBG is quite difficult, and killing people is much harder than say Call of Duty which hands you kills just for looking at someone. If anything I would think BR is a ruthless environment for beginners.

The second and third games were far worse than the original so I'm not sure another one is jeopardizing anything.
Many, many times in the 2015 video he mentions using extremely overpowered weapons and spends like a full 10 minutes constantly firing at buildings to bring them down. The new trailer they released is 1 minute long, presumably using standard powered weapons in a couple of quick edit shots. We'll see how the final product ends up, but now multiple media outlets are praising the tech. Pace yourself or you're going to cry yourselves to sleep.
Tried them all, walked away every time thinking that was kind of cool, but it has a long ways to go before I need to own it.
I think they’ve just decided they like doing the bare minimum to get the game up and running and let the modding community do all the polish and graphics work for free, they don’t have to pay those people.
Every indication Xbox is going the way of PC. They’ll easily be able to have the most powerful console when they give customization options and not just a one size fits all mass market price point piece of hardware.
Rockstar made all of the other developers look like scrubs this year, should just give Red Dead all the awards. Probably the only game this whole generation that felt like a next generation game and not the same stuff we got in the X360/PS3 era.

PSNow is trash compared to Game Pass, and that is just a simple fact.
I’ll check on it again in 6 months when microstransactions are fully implemented. Gotta see if female cyborgs are still in the game. Got a feeling they’ve got an awful bag of tricks they are waiting to unleash until everyone has bought the game then it’s too late, no refunds.
It’s not out of spite. The devs said they don’t care about fan feedback, you’re all sexist pigs, if you don’t like the direction we’re going in don’t buy the game... and the Battlefield community is just complying with their wishes.
I’d gladly take an ambitious game over an ambitious remaster.

Absolutely a gameplay decision. Turns out when you blow everything up and all that is left is open flat ground it doesn’t make for a good shooting experience. Sounds like you’re trying to give Crackdown it’s puddlegate, but you’re the only one buying it.
I think what has taken some time is they spent so much time on the tech they forgot they need to have a shooter with good gameplay in there is well, and while fully leveling a huge city is cool and all that, it doesn’t make for good gameplay, and you’ll see differences in the 2017 demo and the final product.
I believe they get a cut of every game sold on Steam, which has kept them from having to do anything useful for 20 years.
Where as steam box never took off, I think Microsoft is going to make the Xbox essentially the same thing, console and PC games in your living room with one device. It’s going to be great if it happens, and I hope a wide variety of hardware options are available so users aren’t limited by a mass market price point, and can instead customize their hardware to their budget and liking.
