I doubt you can build a comparable computer for $600. The cost of Windows 10 and 4K blu ray is $230 or so. I really want to see someone build for the cheapest price possible a PC that can do 4K30 Gears of War 4 on XBOX settings and play 4K blu ray. I think you're going to be paying twice the cost.
I think the XBOX should be packaged with a case of beer so you have to be 21+ to buy it.

Not interested in theories. Someone get out there and build the cheapest possible PC that can run Gears at 4K30. Then we will know how it really stacks up. And don't conveniently leave out the cost of an operating system and keyboard and mouse like you usually try to do.
Anthem looks great and glad we know the XBOX release date. Other than that not a great E3, I think too many good games have dropped in the last few months and we already knew about most of the titles.
Anyone disappointed with the Xbox Ones relatively low horsepower is going to have a great experience with XBOX.
definitely was a snoozer. same ol' sony chock-full of gimmicks and quick time events. God of War actually looked good though so maybe I'll keep my PS4 until I've had a chance to play it. After that though it's Xbox One X from here on out, I'll likely wait for PS5 Pro before I come back to PlayStation.
I'm all for of it. The PlayStation community is filled with garbage players. If I could pwn them all day from the comfort of my Xbox and Elite controller it would be a small slice of heaven.
Fantastic. My $2400 2014 gaming PC can't hit 4K30 so for $500 this is damn, damn impressive.

The Xbox One X is the only reliable 4K gaming machine anywhere near that price range. A PC as capable will cost you near double.
I know you guys are pissed that PS4 Pro was relevant only for a few months but grow up.

Great and all but I was kind hoping they'd drop another dozen or two BC 360 games today. Still waiting on GRAW and Ninja Gaiden... though this may mean Ninja Gaiden Black may be on its way...
You guys are crazy that think it should be $399. That's the price of the PS4 Pro which is significantly less powerful. Though it would be nice for Microsoft to sweeten the pot and make it come with an Elite Controller, easily the best controller ever made.
I agree it would have nice to hear about this but a packed 90 min conference didn't leave any room. We'll hear about it soon enough I'm sure.
It would take a significantly more expensive PC to run Gears of War 4 at 4K, so no. This is exactly the price I thought it would be and a great price point for anyone wanting to get in on 4K gaming.
The beast has arrived, console gaming will never be the same again. I can't believe how much native 4K is going to be around. More powerful than my top of the line gaming PC from 2014, and can way outperform it at a fraction of the cost.
Nothing would really top the reveal of the XBOX, so saving them for another time was probably the right choice.
