There is no argument when Bungie (Destiny 2) says XBOX and PS4 Pro will be the same experience but PS4 gets a bunch more content and the XBOX is a massive 50% more powerful but run at the same settings. Something definitely doesn't smell right here... I'll wait until the game releases and hear what is said before I make my final judgements. Bungie looks real bad in this though, and they probably colluded with Sony. Not in the fake Russia way though, this appears to be based in fact.
Well said. For anyone who believes climate change is a settled argument, so is sex. It is science. XX, XY. You have no say in it unfortunately. Live your life as you see fit but don't try and re-educate us, you're the ones who are delusional.
It does things my 2014 $2K gaming PC can't. He isn't joking. My PC still performs very well for 1440 and 1080 gaming but 4K isn't realistic on it.
Nor should he, the XBOX is in a whole different league.
Wow that was better than the movie that just came out
Anyone thinking about getting a PS4 Pro should hold out until the XBOX release, the value is going to plummet and you'll be able to get Pro's a dime a dozen on craigslist.
Reeks of desperation after the XBOX announcement...
The improvement I need to see is on Battlefield 4 and Rainbow Six Siege.
I'd imagine you'll find these in the bargain bin after the XBOX releases. No point in dropping the price now, I'm sure you'll find them on craigslist this fall for $35-40.
I'd be a little bummed if we don't see ES6 this console generation. I think with the design of XBOX we are going to see a generation as long as the last one though, probably why Microsoft made it so damn powerful.
@bluefox755
"How about 4k/30fps? Because that seems to be what most games are going to be, not to mention absolutely doable at $500. I can easily find you one that'll run Forza at 4k/60fps, probably less than $500 in fact, if you're interested."
Please, do.
Looks fine the way it is. I'd get a kick out of it though if they sold some limited edition ones in the form of the original Xbox though, since its acronym is X-Box-One-X, back to just being XBOX. Fantastic.
It's a possibility. Bethesda usually announces games just a few months before release so they may be well into ES6 development right now.
Don't think Xbox had as many games period as X360 so it is to be expected. Great effort though by Microsoft, they are doing a fantastic job of listening to our feedback and making it happen.
Montana is beautiful I can't wait to get my hands on a Far Cry set in that location.
Damn it Microsoft, you shouldn't have given into this lunacy.
I don't think Sony is holding back the industry but some shady stuff does seem to be circling them. They've done a terrible job keeping the PS4 updated and adding new features, but they have always been like that. The PS4 Pro has been a complete flop but that's mostly because Microsoft got out and announced a much more powerful Project Scorpio before Sony announced a greatly inferior PS4 Pro, it was lose/lose for Sony at that point there was nothing they could do.
Of course it was, everyone wanted to see Scorpio, or XBOX. It may be a mid cycle console but it is ridiculously powerful and we all knew that with the specs being released a few weeks ago. It'll likely eclipse the 360 as the best console ever released.
Looks like a truly disappointing quick time event fest. Such potential, such a failure. Doesn't help these stooges got all political a few months ago either, I'll never consider buying their trash.
