I am not convinced that gaming is the best application of VR tech.
I'd recommend everyone try it but I'd never recommend anyone buy it.
The problem is they are all 8 hour experiences that you beat in a sitting or two then take into the nearest used game store. I much prefer a game with more content - great single player, great coop, great multiplayer you can play for months. You just can't find that in Sony exclusives.
Naughty Dog is the most overrated studio. I only got to the part in Uncharted 4 where it turns into an African jeep simulator and I never touched the snooze-fest again. The Last of Us was the most overrated game I've ever played. It was a solid game, I'd give it an 8/10 but I was lead to believe it was the greatest game ever conceived - it isn't. Wouldn't be in my top 20 for last generation. I do like their attention to detail though, those small things please me.
With PS3/4 exclusives coming to PC with PSNow, that "exclusive" argument is getting weak...
Why should it be rubbish? Diablo II was incredible, so Diablo III should be incredible, and it is.
I didn't watch the cutscenes lol, I was in it for the gameplay
The power advantage over PS4 Pro is undeniable. The fact that PS4 Pro is running Titanfall 2 at 1440p and XBOX will be running it at 6K really shows how much more power we are getting.
I'd taking playing the Halo 5 campaign any day over watching animated spiderman that tells me to press X every once and a while. Gameplay is most important to me, and this spiderman is severely lacking with what they have shown so far.
Killzone Shadowfall was an exclusive too but I can play it on my PC now, same with Uncharted games and the Last of Us as well, all available to play on a windows PC with internet access.
I'm not a crackdown guy so I don't have plans to buy it at this point but if I had to guess, I'd expect some fairly problematic multiplayer issues on release and possibly on the days and weeks after. They really need to make sure that is taken care of or it's going to get a lot of bad publicity. If everything works great it's going to be a great preview of things to come for the future of games on Xbox that just can't be done on other consoles for probably half a decad...
I believe you meant "even garfield was better emo"
Garfield was a crying emo spider man, really lame. McGuire and Garfield both portrayed a 15 year old kid at 27-28, at 21 Holland was a much better casting for that role, though they could have used a younger actor.
I don't remember any QTE in quantum break.
And Ryse was a terrible game, just further proof on how QTE makes games lame. Definitely a beautiful game though with some of the best looking animations I've seen to date.
QTE was the reason behind Ryse being bad. The other elements of the game were good. You didn't help your case bringing up Ryse.
Lol corny midget? He's the same height as Tobey McGuire and fine for portraying a 15 year old boy. PlayStation fans really love their quick time events lol, you don't find that stuff on other consoles because it's a trash mechanic.
With PS3/4 exclusives being available to play on PC via PlayStation now you can reasonably predict it'll be available to play on PC eventually.
"QTE's done right" is an oxymoron. It's an ancient mechanic that has no place in modern gaming.
Latest footage looked like a QTE snoozefest. I'll just go see homecoming again instead. Didn't help these guys had to interject themselves in politics a while back either, not going to be good for sales.
Looks alright. It's my job though so I don't intend paying $3, I let the government pay me a lot more to do it haha.
