XBOX is going to be awesome but I think a lot of games look better than AC:O. I haven't seen any shots from this game that have wowed me, looks like pretty standard Assassin's Creed graphics to me...
Gameplay comes first, definitely going with the XBOX version.

I'm still waiting to see the 4K30 Gears 4 PC build, no one has seemed to accomplish it yet. The price alone of the 4K blu-ray player is $130. Windows 10 is $100. Now just add the case, power supply, motherboard, CPU, video card, RAM, hard drive, wifi adapter, and keyboard/mouse or controller.
Until the someone in the PC community actually builds and benchmarks this machine XBOX remains the best 4K solution.

I completely agree with that but Sony has a bad history of quick time event abuse, I almost guarantee this game will do it as well. It's an ancient mechanic that has no place in modern games. But yeah Spider Man looks like it is full of them.
I was pretty damn sick of the hardware last generation, it lasted far too long. These console are for people who felt the same way and want some more power. PC gaming gets new components every month, it was BS us console users got nothing for 8 years.
For people wanting a premium console experience, guys like me. PC gaming is a chore, I just want a simple console but I want a ton of power. XBOX is that solution.
Cheaper than a video card upgrade, $500 is dirt cheap for what the console is capable of. Costs twice as much to build a PC that is in the same realm.
Sony took a huge hit from the 360 last generation, they sold half as many PS3's as PS2's. They should be happy to reach PS3 sales and break the trend of halving sales each generation.
Dang with the XBOX doing Forza 7 4K60 the PS4 Pro must be severely under powered to not pull off 1080p60.
I'm fine with the old cycle being dead. I want a premium console experience and I'm totally willing to upgrade my hardware every 3 years.
They could start by removing all quick time events.
It shouldn't be. XBOX is aimed at the console user who wants a premium experience to take advantage of their beautiful TV's. PlayStation is aimed at the casual user who has no use for 4K games and blu ray.
This my friends is how you make a mid generation console the proper way.
I agree XBOS and XBOX are pretty close, but any average consumer should be able to look at the price tag and not make the mistake of buying the wrong one.
XBOX is going to be the most powerful console ever released. Just write that on the box.
XBOX will be the definitive gaming console of this generation. Of course I am going to buy one.
