I think you should have to match all the traits of the character you’ll be playing or you can’t buy the game because of cultural appropriation.
Here is a radical idea: make a complete game for $60. If you want more of my money, make another one.

It was highlighting the women in the reveal trailer. It’s not historically accurate and Battlefield fans want that. Had the trailer not been so ridiculous but the game featured a female option for character creation no one would have said a word. Similar situation to the black guy on Battlefield 1 cover, had a black guy been on the Battlefield 4 box instead no one would have said a word but it didn't feel right for BF1. I just want my money back. I thought I was supporting a game and not an endless tech demo that quite frankly, isn’t all that impressive now in 2018.
Not really a job but some games just feel like a chore. Bioshock 2 was unbelievably hard for me to complete, it felt like it just went on forever. Uncharted 4 has also become extremely boring halfway in.

I did pay $60 for God of War, but I should have waited. PUBG is a much better game at $30, even at $60. I think if you could see the cumulative hours played in PUBG vs God of War, PUBG would have exponentially more hours logged, it’s far more fun and addictive than God of War.

Can safely predict the Xbox has the best controller. Wouldn’t surprise me if we get multiple SKUs like X360 had so people can buy what they want. They learned with Kinect that people want options, maybe even a drive-less console for those of us who don’t want to deal with discs anymore, and I would think the PS5 may finally support UHD blu-rays but maybe not since the PlayStation community has almost unanimously said they could not care less about that feature.
Microsoft will have the more powerful system, not really a prediction since it has been stated but it is at least something we know.

Not salty at all bro, played God of War for about 2-3 hours, got bored and went back to PUBG. I’m still only halfway through Uncharted 4. Sony exclusives are some of the most overrated games I’ve ever played, they are boring and predictable and generally not worth finishing. I like to get more mileage out of my games, that’s why I almost always buy my PS4 games a few months late when they are half price. I can’t justify $60 for a game that ends after 12 hours. I’d gladly pay that money though for the great multiplayer games that I get countless days of gameplay from, and Microsoft excels at those. I guess “brave” is one term to describe short games that end, certainly not the word I would choose but to each his own.

I disagree with this, many PlayStation exclusives I've played feature long drawn out cutscenes and quicktime events. Some of them hardly even seem like games (Until Dawn, etc.)
I remember playing Metal Gear Solid 4 and it having literally more cutscenes then what I received in gameplay.
You're right, I don't like it and the developers have already said if you don't like it then don't buy it so that's exactly what I'm going to do. That attitude of F the fans, we don't care what you think, we are going to push identity politics - and they are, you can bet the inclusiveness doesn't spread to all sides, the Nazi's will all be evil white men - is going to damage the franchise.
