Because you people hold on to physical is why digital prices have to remain high, they can’t undercut the costs of discs or Best Buy and the like won’t be able to sell games. Once all digital is here I’ll benefit greatly.
Especially now that you have to install games to a hard drive anyway. The digital game installed on my hard drive is the exact same game as the disc you installed on your hard drive.
The end-user license agreement for digital is precisely the same as when you purchase a disc. You don't own the games in either case.
Expect growing pains
I wish they'd let WoW die already and make a new, real Warcraft game, been a long long time since Warcraft 3.
Yeah truth is a lot of games don't hold up over time, that doesn't mean they aren't great. Upgrading things for the modern age is fine, don't have to buy them if you're not interested.
A story doesn't stay a story forever. When the PS5 is announced and the issue of crossplay comes up we'll get to re-live it again. Just be patient, it isn't over.
Sunscreen doesn’t actually protect you from heat author. Get an education before it’s too late.
I gave it all a try, I have steam link, steam controller, big picture mode. It's all garbage and sits in a box somewhere in my closet. I'll give them credit for trying but it's all a massive failure.
Benefits of digital far outweigh the negatives. The fight to save physical reminds me of trying to save beta max lol, it's an outdated and inferior method of distribution. It's all going digital within the next 10 years though so whatever.
Once all the major companies quit using Steam it's gonna be funny to see Steam with an endless sea of garbage games and no A-AAA games available. Maybe Half Life 3 will finally get made, exclusive to Steam, in a desperate attempt to save it.
I can't wait until we see it running on Xbox One X, gonna be phenomenal. Game is really only 10 short weeks away!
No Mario and Luigi?
I absolutely do. I generally am playing through one single player game at any given time, and I'll also get in games of Starcraft II, PUBG, and other multiplayer games too while I work my way through the single player game. That's why I find multiplayer games to be the most important because I'm constantly playing them. Single player stuff I'll generally work through then never touch the game again but the multiplayer games stay in rotation for an extended period of time.
I just want a SOCOM feature where it plays new SOCOM games.
GTA is a higher quality game so it only makes sense.
Seeing Battlefield 1 at 4K on X has been the most impressive visual showcase I’ve seen this generation, and I’ve played it all.
Steam has been an un-innovating platform for years and years, they should be happy to have had the PC monopoly for so long, it's time to welcome competition to the market, it'll be best for gamers.
When I put in a Dolby Vision supported movie like Black Panther my TV sure says it's receiving a Dolby Vision signal through the X so I'm not so sure you're correct.
Steams monopoly of PC gaming is hopefully over. It’s about time market competition is finally going to emerge once more. I never liked Steam so I’m happy to see the push for more options, it is a welcome change.
