Santy Klawz??
Man this is good news. I was getting a little worried. Obviously I still haven't played it for myself but coupling the (so far) overwhelmingly positive reviews with the fact that I actually liked Dragon age 2 (sorry, I should have made sure you were sitting down before saying that) I think it's a reasonably safe bet I'm going to enjoy the enchantment out of this one.
I watched a fair amount of it streaming on Twitch earlier and it looks like exactly the type of thing I want. It contains elements of many other games but I still have no idea what it's actually like to play through, which is a rare thing these days sadly. In these times when we can look at pretty much any game and know how it will play it's nice to have a game coming out with snazzy current gen graphics AND (shock horror) an intriguing new concept.
My only concern for this game is that it will be more focused on action than interacting with the world and people (in ways other than violence or military strategy). I'd put all that to rest until recently a preview on YouTube (can't remember the previewer's name) claimed to have played the first four hours and claimed at least in that small beginning chunk there's very little room for choice to the degree that there aren't even dialogue options for accepting quests (or d...
Nope but I'm starting to think games 'journalism' might be.
What? They didn't say a word about Walker Texas Ranger.
Dog - Cat?
Saved by the bell.
If Shadow of Boston turns out to be a Free to play multiplayer shooter we riot.
I'm just worried about what character I'm going to create, I doubt I'll be able to top my DA2 character. My Origins character was a pasty floppy haired douche Rogue always going for the cheap joke, he's quite replaceable. My DA2 character however was created during a very pissed off time and turned out to be a humourless and ruthless Mage that looked exactly like Daniel Day Lewis in There will be blood. As much as I enjoyed Origins more as a game I think I enjoyed acting like ...
You should check out a game named Big rigs: Over the road racing. You can go absolutely anywhere in that game, through walls, outside the game world, no walls whatsoever. It sounds like exactly your type of thing.
How's about 'a dark room'? 'A very very very dark room' sort of gives away the desperation to downplay it as much as humanly possibly. Like just a regular dark room will have no effect, it has to be inhumanly dark. we're talking super mega ultra dark, you're gonna have to create a black hole in the corner of the room to begin to see any effect.
How about this next time, 'Meh, doesn't make much difference to me as I never play in the dark anywa...
Maybe it's just the quality of the videos I've seen recently but this game really looks like it has that same washed out look as Watch dogs. That look like everything's been painted with a thick coat of matte paint. Forget technical specs and everything, I just find that ugly.
Good idea. The day Manga becomes an outlet for the sick sexual perversions of a heavily sexually repressed culture is the day.... who did what to the what now?
"I have to be honest with everyone right up front: I am a Dragon Age virgin"
Wait, does that mean you've never played one before or is that what us superfans are calling ourselves now? Because if it is I like it.
I'm about 5 hours into The Evil Within now (about how many I was into RE5 before giving up and returning it. Something I almost never do) and I'm really liking it a lot. It's absolutely dripping with atmosphere.
Cheeseball characters and plot in games usually really annoy me (as it did with RE5) but that's probably because it's usually coupled with cheesy Michael Bay style directing. The corniness of The Evil Within works well with its spooky atmosphere as it...
If it was anybody else I would suspect this was a one off issue but since it's Ubisoft I have to at least suspect this is another symptom of Ubisoft not giving a damn if the game itself is a poorly constructed shallow repetitive mess as long as you can make some good promo videos and press releases for it.
never looked like my type of thing creatively but the beautiful immersive and detailed world piqued my interest. Now I'm strongly suspecting this will look just like Watch dogs once it's released I can't say I'm very interested in it.
..l.....uh, I don't think it is.
Me too but I blame teenage years spent listening to The Cure and Joy Division.
