Well I should've clarified. First person shooters aren't really my genre at all. I mean this looks sufficiently oldschool and 'pure' to appeal to real FPS fans, just that I'm not its intended audience.
Looks like they've gone the 'Pure oldschool shooter' route. Not my scene at all but I guess it looks decent enough for people who are into that type of thing. Though the multiplayer looks a bit more Halo than Doom to me.
I wouldn't say I was always poor but it's definitely the best balancing of cash that I've seen in an RPG. I can usually buy the thing I want but it's not like any other game where I don't even have to glance at my balance. If you're buying something fancy you certainly feel it.
Just like everything else in the game, it's for once actually implemented in such a way that it makes a difference. I hardly ever bother with crafting, concocting potions o...
God I really hope we see Vinewood Zombie: The game, it being basically Undead Nightmare in GTAV's world. I know zombies are so oversaturated right now but as a lifelong zombie fanatic Undead Nightmare was the only one that really nailed the classic Romero zombie thing for me. The only thing keeping it from being the zombie game I always dreamed of was its old West setting (and technically the supernatural elements but I can easily look past them). Really, placing the Red Dead zombies in G...
Hooray, September 11th!!! ....I feel...odd.
You should add a spoiler warning to this comment. I'm not attacking you since I know we're here to discuss the content of the video but I didn't watch it yet so technically, if they spoiled the game for you you spoiled it for me. Again, I'm not whining about that, just saying it would probably save a few people finding out the spoiler if you warn us that there is one in the video before quoting it so it would be a nice thing to edit that into your comment.
According to my iPhone's Calculator app that means they actually wound up getting back more money than they spent making the game.
It makes me sad to remember when Rocksteady was the little studio that could, coming out of nowhere with a Batman game that got the feel of the comics down perfectly. Now it's all preorder bonuses, pointless paid celebrity endorsements, dubstep and Batman as a super badass robot tank blasting robots to pieces with a turret. It's all so Michael Bay, it's all so not Batman. Honestly I'm trying to reserve judgement but I do NOT get a good feeling about this one at all.
The dog with its painted on fur is really the only thing I just can't get past. Well, the plastic Lego person hair and textureless skin of the Vault dweller is pretty rough too. I just mean I don't need the environments to look mindblowingly next gen, they look serviceable and atmospheric and that's good enough for me if the rest of the game lives up to Fallout 3. It's just, as much I would want to ignore how bad the characters look I think it will be too distracting.

The fact that some people don't even recognise that there's another option besides 'looks dated' and 'dishonest misrepresentation of the actual game' just shows how beaten down by shady and lazy business practices this industry has become.
The graphics DO look very dated (and I'm of the belief that graphics are an important part of an immersive experience) but then I remind myself that I only bought Fallout 3 because all I read was hype and praise about it and, not being as deep into gaming as I would get and not knowing the studios past games or anything, all I saw in video clips was a horrendously dated looking game with awful animations. It was honestly only curiosity that made me buy Fallout 3 because I just had to know...
I'd say everything after the first half hour of Inland Empire is basically a slightly less out and out horror (but still pretty damn horrific) film version of the P.T game.
You think their scoring system goes up to a point it's literally impossible for anything to achieve ever? Why would they do that?
I just think it's truly ridiculous that Gotham is mostly deserted AGAIN. What is it this time? The citizens all being driven out of town on a big bus? Well I guess they had Curfew on Christmas night in a snow storm used already. Before this series ended I really wanted to see a Gotham City that was full of ...y'know... citizens to save.
I guess I can't complain since I loved Ground zeroes so the only reason it's a disappointment is that I already own it. Call of Juarez looks reasonable I guess but I doubt I'll bother with it and the rest are just more of the throwaway simple pixel art phone game type things which tend to last me ten minutes or so.
All I will say is, read the books. I'm not even usually into fantasy as a genre but the books are fantastic. The Last Wish is a great selection of short stories to really get you into the Universe in quick action packed bites but the main Geralt/Ciri ongoing series is the real meaty character driven stuff. Not nearly as much action but the characters are brilliantly and deeply written. I still haven't finished the series, only being halfway through the fan translation of the fourth bo...
There has been no downgrade!
Downgrades are inevitable!
Yeah, I remember grinding my feet on Eddie's couch.
The fact that it is a spoiler (which it is, maybe not a big plot ruining one but it's spoiling what may have been a surprise) isn't what gets me. I mean I already that part spoiled for me by Conan's Clueless Gamer segment and I didn't even mind because the segment was entertaining enough to make it worth it. What is truly annoying is that they're spoiling things just so they can play up the 'Is this morally outrageous?' angle for clicks? It's disgusting and sho...
So, a spoiler just for a 'did they go too far?' clickbait piece of crap gawker piece? Ugh.
Thanks BT Internet, cutting out for ten minutes just as the Fallout 4 presentation I've been waiting for for months is just about to start. Pieceasheeeit. I missed most of the start of the presentation. I have to say I'm not liking the voiced protagonist and missed if they explained how you can alter your player character.
Everything else though I'm loving. LOVING. I'm even excited for the imminent mobile game, what happened to me?
