Calm your defensive tits, click the article and look at the highlighted gif. I'll admit I don't currently own an Xbox one but this technology really did excite me and I was really looking forward to seeing what could be done with it. After seeing this I'm beyond disappointed.
It's a damn shame this game is having these issues because other than that it's an absolutely fantastic game. Probably the most purely immediate fun game on the console right now and the closest I've come to enjoying a sports game since Mutant League Football.
For me it truly does. I like how great it feels to dive into and speed down a straight road but every single other thing about it (and many other things about the game in general) I really really hate.
Batman is the world's greatest detective, trained in hand to hand combat and committed to never taking a life. Why am I in a goddamn tank fighting a rocket firing helicopter? The riddler is a puzzle obsessed man desperate to prove his intellectual superiority to Batman. Why is he ma...
I got a lot of crashes on 360 too. Fallout 3 was also the game I played last on my 360 and one of my ps3s before they broke. I've never been able to figure out if that was because the game did something to my console or because I played that game about 3000 times more than anything else.
What are you talking about? Skyrim ran great and had some awesome interactive features. For example, every time my character would step into the freezing cold water my entire console would freeze. That's like a whole other level of immersion right there.
I've been on board with the argument that we should be getting a little more than the relentless tide of cheap throwaway Indies but honestly I have to admit this month looks pretty good to me, at least for the PS4. Rocket league does look quite fun and Styx - Master of shadows is a game I've wanted to try out for a while. It looks a little clunky and dated but there's something else a little old school looking about it, something I can't define. It looks like a game from back ...
'I agree, shallow and pedantic'.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt and gave you one click. Awful writing and clear stretching to arrive at a controversial conclusion. No more clicks from me.
Oh, well....@disagree, I guess I .....didn't?
I've definitely been experiencing this. I started downloading Arkham Knight the second it was released, left it downloading and finally got to play at 2am this morning.
Well duh, clearly from selling Mole Rat meat to cafe owners.
Wow, Episode 3 is still not out? Man, I've been thinking of this as that series Telltale brought out a while back that I never got round to picking up but always meant to. It's amazing how a company with such brilliant writers and such an individual, artistically driven business model can be so amazingly horrible at customer service.
Here's the rule from now on, Telltale. We love your games and we want you to keep making them but from now on stick to one series at a ...
The only real concern that demo brought up for me was that, out of all of those limitless planets and galaxies, the random planet he chose looked remarkably similar to the stuff we've already seen. Now I know we can't be expecting fully formed GTAV style maps but I mean the colours weren't even different to the stuff we've seen before. I'm just hoping the variety of planets expands beyond where the hills and trees are placed.
A medically induced coma?
I thought the same and had the same thoughts about Batman stomping around in a heavy ass mech suit. To be honest I've not had a good feeling about this game at all since it looked like they were trying to Michael Bay the whole thing rather than staying true to the feel of the comics so it's good to see it actually get great reviews so far. I'm still a little apprehensive about the tone of it but I'm happy enough to go buy it.
The rest of you can go play Pong. Some of us see a game as a creative work encompassing design, atmosphere, sound, visuals, story, and gameplay. Therefore a game sold on its heavy focus on creating an immersive and atmospheric environment with stunningly detailed visuals feel a little cheated when once again we end up with a clunky empty seeming world lacking any atmosphere whatsoever.
This is fantastic news, it's the main thing I wanted in this game. I played through Mirror's Edge at least four times and maybe shot one guy once before exiting the game without saving. I'm not an achievement hunter and don't even particularly love a challenge but the shooting just never felt right for the character and it removed the brilliant originality of the gameplay.
My only concern for this game now is that some of the scenes in that trailer looked a littl...
This is such a sad sign of the times. Along with the comments you always see on stories about real scumbag nickle and diming of consumers like, 'well duh, they're a business, they exist to make money'.
As ridiculous as it may sound in this day and age people used to (and sometimes still do) get into creative fields to create. There are people out there who's primary goal is to create interesting things and see them be appreciated by the public. Of course a concer...
I really don't get it. I'm liking the beats the main missions hit so far (probably still only about halfway through because I went back to The Witcher 3) but almost everything else I dislike. I despise the tank battles, I really dislike the general porny atmosphere of the camera gliding over technology in slo mo like Michael Bay's sitting behind it masturbating. I find a lot of the combat somehow scrappier and loose, at points it can be hard to even make out what's going on in...
