Pulled it off the store already by the look of it.
I'd be happy to leave my pre-order in place...but guess it won't be optional now... 😟
On a budget...the recent leak implies that the PS5 is going to be far cheaper than expected. Interesting times...
If you can play 'most' PS4 games on PS5 (assuming rightly or wrongly that Sony studio titles will be compatible or patched - and they play better than on PS4), there are probably some who say that's as good a launch as it needs to be. Dedicated games will be a bonus.
But it also comes down to the long run - and Sony will improve on their PS4 background too...with MS hotter on their heels this gen (IMO)...
Yep...Sony will be weeping in the playground now that Phil is happier. Not.
I really hope SX gets the support it deserves over the coming 3 years or so...but I think there'll be a significant price difference and the PS5 will attract people on that and 'PS4 experience' alone.
Uphill struggle for SX but it will be a great bit of kit.
Hope I can get both again...but mines a PS5 first of all.
If you can play 70 of them, it's not worth it?
"Most games" needs some definition but I guess it comes down to how games were written originally and whether 3rd parties can be bothered to invest time in patching their old titles. I'd wager that all Sony titles will work (patched or otherwise).
I gave it a try for about 3 hours and was underwhelmed. But as above, maybe I was too impatient, if it "starts" around 3.5-4 hours (with more equipment and toys to play with). Might give it another go...
But ossyc - you don't know the price?? 🙃
@Gansta
And Sea of Thieves released nearly 4 years later...
Are you sure?
I thought AWS had that...by a reasonable margin...
Why? Why they sold 150m?
Probably because 150m people (or probably 90-100m what with "double dipping" across platforms) think they produce a great game. Obviously, there are still more people worldwide who dont agree, but it is impressive....
^ 😄
Confirmed. Or unconfirmed and likely. Or supposition...
Either way, choice is good. Enjoy what you want to spend the cash on...😆
And with the shoe on the other foot...GP doesn't offer streaming whatsoever. So they aren't really similar. 700 constant games .v. 10 per few months.
Granted they may move towards similar services next gen when MS offer cloud streamed games, but GP is Premium selection only at the moment. Hotel Chocolat .v. 10 tins of Roses.
Don't get me wrong, MS new games and a few 3rd parties is still good. I subscribe regularly...but they aren't compar...
Not really similar. One offers a huge back catalogue (generally streamed) and the other offers a much smaller select number of titles for a finite period of time.
Agree.
Which is best...Netflix or a DVD store.
Really depends....
You can't compare.
So it's not better.
Better for you maybe.
Far more games on PS Now, with some recent ones now added. But that's not what everyone is looking for...
They. Aren't. The. Same.
And miss out a 105 million market..??
