If you hadn't noticed those videos are running on pretty much the lowest resolution possible. ANY game shown in those resolutions is going to look terrible. If you didn't realise that then shame on you.

Aside from all that I genuinely think it's a poor quality game. I really wanted it to at least slightly live up to 'that' trailer.. but what we've got is a mediocre at best product.

Also.. the controller is cool if you're into gold (I'm not), but the console design looks cheap... and the only Star Wars sound effect I would want coming out of my Xbox would be the Light Sabre sfx.

Seems legit as the 'Press start' button is in exactly the same style as the menu's were when I was in the Alpha.
Also, if I were sad enough to create a fake image, I'd use a HD alpha screen shot and put it on my TV and make it seem like it was Xbox.
So the fact its just a boring title screen probably means it is actually real.

This wasn't made for BF3. They made the footage then slapped on the BF3 titles when the game was announced. That's why it doesn't really have any specific connection to BF3.

Hardcore mode increases the damage of weapons to more 'realistic' levels ie. one hit sniper kills. My guess would be this gives the option of keeping damage the same but obviously just removing the regen.

Anyone that played Crysis 2 multiplayer will find that dog tag mode very familiar indeed!
For those that didn't, in Crysis 2 the only way you could activate kill streak rewards was by collecting the dog tags of enemies you killed. It seems the MW3 devs liked that idea a lot haha.

@ShoryukenII: I was an Alpha tester and there was a lot of emphasis on server load. The beta will just be like any other beta, they'll be keeping an eye on everything looking for general problems.
Also, the Alpha was running with vastly reduced graphics and effects so the beta will be a chance for them to get feedback with the game running with the levels turned up and with balance tweaks in place.
There's a lot more to it than just testing servers ...
Marvellous :/ That guarantees laggy matches. There's nothing worse than half the lobby being made up of people using split screen. Most of the people who play online have poor connections and split screen multiplayer just exacerbates the problem. It was one of the reasons Black Ops was so terrible... you choose local search, but still get put in matches with people on the other side of the world... and most of them are using split. There's no way you can have a decent match.
