There are a BOAT LOAD of great games for both consoles. Its just too difficult to please some people though.

Everything must be AAA!!!!

Also.. Don't release games aimed at casuals! They don't deserve to game!!!

I gotta agree with Sinterfire. Its not that I'm over these consoles. Rather, I love seeing what else can be done in the gaming industry.

Right now people are saying "PS3 still has so many good games coming out". Yeah, that's true, but I think as far as quality goes, its likely these consoles are about "maxed out". We got some awesome games, and I'm sure more will come in the next year or so, but the new consoles must be on the way.

@guardian

The PS3 was pretty pricey at launch, I agree. But don't forget it was also the cheapest BluRay device on the market, and Sony took a loss initially.

Most of that tech will remain the same with just one major difference. Its cheap as hell to maufacture now.

Sony already said it won't be quite like the leap from PS2 to PS3.

Sony and MS put a lot into turning gaming consoles into home media hubs. Now th...

So you waited this long to buy one, why?

And, should Sony stop selling the PS3 and making games for it a few months before launching the next console?

If you buy the PS4 day one, you can at least feel safe from these articles for a few years.

Like using hardware thats new in 2012, compared to what will be 6 year old hardware at the time.

If you don't think that a major difference, then you should try using a 6 year old PC with no upgrades every day for a while

PS4, 720 and WiiU will all use every type of control that's available on todays consoles.

Thats what happens. Deal with it. If the PS4 has motion controls and you don't like them, I'm pretty sure you just won't be buying motion control games. Instead sticking to your preference of game.

I'm pretty sure Sony are not worried about people like you crying "why are you including motion controls???" Considering you make up a tiny m...

Wow you guys are funny.

Playing games all day, and yet laughing at people and calling them gay if they enjoy motion controls?

So, let me get this "straight"... To be a man, a straight man, you must play games. Not just any games, ones that require you to sit in your chair and push buttons on a controller.

I seriously hope you're just kids. If not, I would advise maybe trying that gay thing yourselves coz I can't imagin...

Then you have games some people can play on their xbox but they can't take the game to a friends house coz his/hers hasn't been upgraded.

Splitting the userbase is just a bad idea.

Why? Obviously everyone knows these may or very well may not be the names. So just why?

Should we all type "Microsofts next console"?

He didn't say they couldn't launch a new console. He asked how its been losing steam since launch. I stopped reading after that.. the first line!

I've had both consoles since launch. Both are now far better than they were at launch, so again, I ask how has it been losing steam?

Too late? Seriously man, Kinect hasn't been around very long.

One handed controller like this could be what it needs for hardcore games.

Fanboy comments like "Oh I thought YOU were the controller" aside, MS is working to improve Kinect each day. The Kinect hardware will also be used with Windows soon (Already is actually), and I'm be surprised if its not used with the next MS Console.

Nintendo's console will have s...

They're very different, Netflix and Hulu. For me though:

Netflix $8
+
Hulu $7

= Worth so much more than $100 for DirectTV with 300 channels I rarely ever watch.

You guys could be in for a shock. I started gaming back on the NES when Nintendo was King!

They could have gone the way of Sega when the PS came on the scene. But they kept trying, and after GC it was just about over for them. They either had to fold, or make something that was cheap enough to sell to the masses and make some bank.

Now, they sell a a crap load of Wii's, probably broke their target by a ton too.

Then, they get to sit...

I agree techwise, Sony is sprinting ahead in the handheld market.

However, the PSP was quite mindblowing when released, yet they didn't really capture the market away from Nintendo.

3DS is going to be hyped and marketed like the Wii. I think Sony needs to really step up on markerting this time.

PSP2 could be tru console gaming on the go. It could be huge, if marketed well.

Retarded list is correct. Examples of "unintentional" racism?? If its unitentional, its not racist.

Its simply someone here looking for racism. I could find racism in any video game or movie or TV show if I wanted to.

I agree the setting was awesome for the game. Underrated IMO. Game really creeped me out. Not many games can do that. I like it.

No, sports tend to exist before and after the current stars..

On topic: kinda bumed with no mention of Kinect support. Move will be awesome though. Was just hoping to try TW with kinect. Thought it would be a no brainer for EA.
