Impossible to judge before either one has been shown. Although for fanboys, its easy to judge before hand.
I saw a 3DTV at CES this year that didn't require glasses. They only showed an animated airplane on the screen, and it was cool seeing the wings pop out sometimes. However, I think on a large screen TV there's a long way to go before they will be produced.
The picture was hard on the eyes at certain angles. Really cool tech though and hopefully in a few years they can make it work well on a large scale.
How in the world would this affect sales of Reach?? Reach is done, finished, andgoing on sale very soon. Anyone who was planning to buy Reach before this announcement will still be buying it.
So many people on here tend to forget that most people who play video games likely don't even read this kind of article. Even most hardcore gamers don't give a crap about this kind of news as long as they still get great games to play now and in the future.
What people seem to forget here is that MS, Sony and Nintendo already have MILLIONS of consoles in peoples homes already. Sure they will always try to push more hardware sales, but at this point any dev would be stupid not to support each console. The market is huge.
Multiplat or not, there are millions of console owners who want more great games. There will be PLENTY of amazing games to come for all consoles before this gen 'ends'.
You really think the vast majority of gamers would stop buying games for the 360 because of ONE racing game??? Seriously, a 10yr old should have more common sense than you.
GT5 will be probably the best racing game made to date. To even think it could 'kill' another console is nonsense.
Yes the 360 has had a rough ride, but I still enjoy mine and have plenty of great games to play. I see no point in these "xbox dead" "xbox is doomed" articles. 40million, or whatever the real number is, even with rrod, units sold. There will be another Xbox. There will be another Playstation. There Will be another Nintendo console.

Everything on consoles will always be "stolen" from each other. Thats just how things work. Not just game consoles, EVERYTHING.
One compay invents the bagless vaccum cleaner, then others start making those. Of course you know all this, but you would rather be a fanboy for a peice of equipment. Do yourself a favor, just enjoy games for what they are. If you wanna be a fan of something, try a sports team.

It needs no more space than you would require to play the Wii or Move. If space is a big requirement it might be something they're keeping tight lipped incase it puts people off buying it.

There will always be people who find things to comlpain about in every game. At the end of the day, as far as shooters go, and the COD franchise, its an entertaining game. Worth the price tag IMO with good online playing.
No game will ever be considered perfect by everyone. That's why there's so many to choose from, and they keep getting better.
Mostly because their handhelds have always been aimed at kids. I'm not saying adults can't have fun with a DS or whatever, but this is where kids start playing video games.
PSP is awesome for adults who like portable gaming, but way too complex for kids. I'm sure the piracy plays some part, but I think the age demographic is key in the handheld sales.
The ONLY way to end the console war is to have only one console on the market. No competition means no "war".
Therefore the console "war" will never end. Sony, MS and Ninty I'm sure are very happy to have each other as competition. Without competition, the need for inovation goes away. As long as all three are constantly trying to capture different parts of the market from each other, it will go on forever. And for gamers, that is good news.

Because they plan to put a lot of money, time and effort into making the game, then they will go all out on marketing.
Its like a movie studio signing Will Smith for a movie that has a budget of $250m. They would likely have that set up as a "blockbuster" movie. Whereas if they signed Eugine Levy to star in a straight to DVD American Pie 18 they know before hand what the expectations are.
One of my fave old school games on the Commodore Amiga. Infact, two of my all time faves were on the AMiga. BB and Wings. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE an HD remake of Wings. Change nothing but graphics, that game was EPIC too.
Its a day one for me. COD games have always been fun for me. As far as shooters go, they're always worth the money for me.
