Something you can afford... how is that mindless? I hate playing outdated sports games becuase I want the players on my team!
If its just roster updates, and slight improvements. I don't mind paying the money for it. IF I want it.
Nintendo looked dead to me when I saw the gamecube. I thought it was their last chance. It was somewhat sad as a gamer to see them fall so far.
Then they made something so popular, for so cheap. And they're back, good day for gamers. Wether it be your mom, dad, or 3rd cousin you never see.
Shouldn't we be happy for the Wii? Hasn't the Wii generated an insane amount of cash into the gaming industry? Shouldn't we be excited to see what Ninentendo can do with all that money in R&D?
Love it or hate it, Nintendo brought something new to the table, and it paid off. Now they get the chance to bring something else. For all you know their next 'gimmick' might actually be something that blows gamers minds. With HD, 3D, BluRay.

If they market the sh*t out of move it will sell like crazy. I love the gun accesories for Wii while playing COD or Resident Evil.

Pick up some old consoles and games on the cheap. Play them, then sell them if you don't want to keep.

This game is fun, nothing hardcore IMO, but a fun game to kill some time with.
what videos have you been watching?? Every game has cut scenes that look better.. Duh! they're pre rendered. Fact is GT5 will be the most lifelike game made to date. Might not be like looking out your window, but its getting damn close.

No, its just that when you take out hardcore gamers and fanboys (you), which is only a minority of the gaming market, you're left with people that don't care which console something is made for. If they like it, they will buy it.
I saw a 3DTV at CES this year that didn't require glasses. Its a long way off production I think, and although looked too distorted sometimes, there was moments were it looked awesome.
Its only a matter of time before they perfect it, but I would say at least 10 years before these go mainstream.
Although, I haven't played 1-3 yet, so I would love a remake of those on PS3. MGS4 was epic!

Not all 360 fans are idiots like this one. If you are a fan of one console only, that's your choice. You'll be losing out on the great games each console has to offer but again, your choice.

I love my 360, and won't be 'upgrading' to the slim, but the original design kinda sucked.
From what I saw at E3 voice command is activated when you say "xbox" maybe it will allow you to customize the command to activate it, who knows. but unless people start yelling "XBOX" follwed by a working command during your movie, you should be safe.
