It's insane how unrecognizable the Persona series has become. This some goofy ass shit.
To be fair, the $700 million in development costs were over the game’s lifecycle, not just development - Black Ops Cold War (2020) in this case. And of course, this also include their marketing campaign.
But then, you take into account Activision Blizzard's shenanigans for not paying taxes, even getting tax refunds, moving billions to tax havens, plus all the money paid by Microsawft and Sony for exclusive deals, and I bet you that figure is substantially way lower tha...
I'm sure they banish people to the Nightmare Frontier if they as much as whisper the name in the office.
2020's Quake Eternal was great. And now HeXen: The Heretic Ages is looking fire. So hopefully they'll release a Doom game soon.
Yes. All of Sony's Remasters - all the ones stemming from the PS4 library - are cash-grabs. When all they needed to do was patch them to run at 60fps, up the resolution, and be done with it. But then they had to actually care about Bloodborne, and that's a cardinal sin over at Sony.
On a side note. I just got The Sinking City Remastered for free, because I owned the game. Weird...
Because this is nothing new. Remember when the Spyro trilogy came out and it only had 2 games in it? People were mad. Or Cyberpunk broken and incomplete ass game? People were pissed! How about Switch cartridges missing entire games? People were... kinda mad. Nintendo fans are betas like that. Or worst yet, Microsawft's disc for Halo War 2 not working on my XBOX One S, but somehow allowing me to download the entire game from the store? I was livid.
We've been here be...
Ever since Hawkfield started his hair transplant treatment in VF 4, he has become addicted to it and unable to stop. He's now going for the full 'A Canadian Werewolf in Hyrule' treatment. He's out of control.
WOLF, STOP IT. Get some help.
They are. One more Generation and that's it. Regardless, having nazi garbage in our game space is far worst.
I always said, as a Playstation player, I would've taken Halo and Gears over Killzone and Uncharted any freaking day of the week. Well, I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
L😀L
Absolutely. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
Seeing how ugly the remakes and remasters of these old JRPGs are turning out to be, I much rather they didn't. Just re-release them, physically and digitally, and be done with it.
Please, stop George Lucasing these classics!!
Who pays full price for games nowadays? You serious or just plain stupid? Just wait a few months and get them for less than half the original price. Send a message or keep letting them get away with it. It's up to you.
And support indie games as well.
No they aren't, they haven't and they never will. Leakers have been at it for decades, and we're still here, excited for the next game to drop in order to hear nazi scum, bitch and moan about black people. Oh, wait... Wait, this the wrong article. Never mind, carry on.
Oh, and "FUCK LEAKERS!!!" Said the chronically online, while regular people don't even know what the fuck an Oblivion is. Except for your friends, of course... 🙄
...
These ARE the remakes... The first remakes at least. Then there was the PSP and Game Boy Advance other TWO remakes of The Silver Star. So what you're saying is that you want a remake of a remake of a remake of a remake of Lunar The Silver Star, and a remake of a remake of Eternal Blue? What do you think this is? Persona?
Still, I guess I'm down with that.
Hate to be that guy, but stylistically speaking these remakes are very much 90's anime. Also, the original Eternal Blue had 90's anime aesthetics, while The Silver Star maybe, kinda, like from very far away, could be seen as a product from in between the eras, for obvious reasons. But stylistically speaking is pushing early 90's anime without a doubt.
The late 80's anime boom, not the previous anime rush, but the one we all remember as THE look of the late ...
The Sega CD versions are superior, by a country mile, and then some. The stories are better presented, while their surprises and plot twists are hidden in a more elegant fashion. The atmosphere are more foreboding, especially in TSS, while the dungeon designs are superior in both SCD versions. Not to mention the intro to The Silver Star on the SEGA CD is an all time gaming classic, and the game feels apocalyptic. And while the cutscnenes in TSS are not that many, just like with Eternal Blue, ...
The Sega CD versions are actually superior for a variety of reasons, but to each their own.
Too bad this is not a remastered collection of the original Sega CD versions; The superior versions of these games. They could've at least thrown in the og games as extras or something.
Going to pass on this collection unless they become ultra cheap.
For now. Wait until some company comes up with the perfectly moronic AI made mechanic and makes bank with it, and then BOOM! Fuck the video game industry. Although, thanks to the nazi scum, we're already there, but still. Just like with DLC, incomplete games, season passes, patches, battle passes, loot boxes, horse armor, and digital only games, it's only a matter of time.
Good luck.
Chris Roberts really hit the jackpot with this thing. That guy has been living the high life based on broken promises, feature creeps, what ifs, non existence deadlines, roadmaps to roadmaps to roadmaps, and, no real games. But instead, an eternal Early Access buffoonery shit show that I imagine will be dragged all the way to the finish line one way or another. But when will that finish line will be, or how will it look like, it's anyone's guess. Something tells me it'll be the st...
