Its like an HD Remaster for a lost PS3/XBOX360 era game. It's fine, I don't think these type of pre-From Software action RPGs are something to want the industry to go back to, but having some around for those weirdos out there is also not a bad thing.

Gameplay and control wise this game is simply superior to the Witcher, Skyrim and Breath of the Wild. In fact, all Soulborne games are. Unless you know something we don't.
The only difference now is that there is a lot of open land between the Legacy Dungeons. But if you simply look and explore around you'll find that there is plenty of loot, powers, spells, weapons, armors, bosses, dungeons, encounters, enemies, etc. And you can find a bunch of them before the firs...

Not having Kazuma Kaneko as the lead Character Designer in the Shin Megami games has made them look so generic. The SMT series used to look so iconic and unique. Plus he was the main reason to suffer through the turn base shenanigans.
Losing Kazuma Kaneko is like Final Fantasy losing Yoshitaka Amano. The unique look and identity of the franchise is lost.
At least we'll always have the Raidou games. Hoping for an HD remaster at some point.
