Couldn't care less. Rockstar's problem now are in their absolute garbage Mission Design. For such an Open World and such fine details, their missions are absolute ass and lineal and feel completely outdated.
Will they fix it? Doubt it.

Clearly...or is it? The game has shallow combat, brain dead AI, lineal and bland level design, QTEs and extremely repetitive and boring slow motion sections. While other better games certainly share some of the same traits, they do try to compensate in other aspects at least. Ninja Theory simply thought that pretty graphics and animation, with Ham Serkis, would somehow be enough to do the trick. It didn't.

While having impressive technical feats such as the animation and motion capture, and Andy Serkis' scenery chewing performance never fails to be glorious, the game also suffered from bad game design, bad level design and shallow gameplay that felt outdated the moment the game came out. Which made for a pretty but shallow and boring experience.
Oh, and those damn QTE and Slow Motion Projectile Cam sections. The joy... 😐
Ninja Theory's best game was, oddly enough, DMC. Everything else have been mediocre at best. Enslaved could've been great but fell flat and the first Hellblade was laughably bad where it matters, the gampleay.
So they have a shet ton to prove before getting excited about this. Will the gameplay suffer even more now that the graphics have taken a massive presedent? We'll see. But so far, the gameplay they've shown was beyond underwhelming.

That why you pirate this stuff. If you pay to not own then just pay to have a clean conscience and then get yourself the product for life without feeling bad about it.

3rd person is simply inferior and obtrusive but I'm OK with Options. What I don't want is have to buy a VR headset to experience these and other games, like Hitman, in First Person mode.
To each their own but at least give us the option without having to pay extra is all I'm saying.

Actually, the industry is at $30 to $35 bucks throughout the year. I just got Resi 4 Remake and Jedi: Fallen Order for $30 each. You just have to exercise some patience is all.
People are too impatient. Just enjoy the backlog or a few of the indie games while the price plummets on the big titles.

Sonic is a creatively bankrupt IP. Nothing good has comes out of this dead horse since time immemorial. Ok, Sonic Mania was great, but only because it was mimicking something long gone. Something that has it's place but not something that will bring back this rotten corpse of an IP.

A great sequel could've lean on the whole Investigative and Reporting aspect of this game. Take the newer Sherlock Holmes game and mix it with the newer Hitman series in order to make well crafted levels where Jade has to sneak around, using the environment, disguises, connect clues and uncover all manners of conspiracies leading to a big Body Snatcher/Invaders from Mars/Snatchers are taking over the world type stuff.
