similar to the "they won't be able to fix the BC problem because it will tax the system". And yet they did!
@TheMart
may be working to some extent on the Xbox 360.
I for one haven't been able to download a HD movie yet due to the long amount of time it takes. I really don't see it taking off for at least a few more years. Besides consoles would have to have a bigger HDD to hold content be it movies or games (both even BIGGER). Internet speeds would have to be faster and affordable. Besides I for one prefer my pruchases to come in a nice case with instructions and with nice cover art....
where some resentments coming from Sony using the PS3 as a Trojan horse. But from a business stand point you have to admit it's a pretty bold and yet clever move. Even if blu-ray doesn't take off for movies the storage capacity can still be use for games.
"Specifically, Havok notes that using its latest 4.5 physics and animation products for the PlayStation 3 will be able to more greatly harness all its available SPUs, resulting in scenes running 5-10 times faster than Havok 4.0 for a typical PS3 game scene."
that the Xbox 360 is doing well so far. But unlike the majority here I won't be underestimating Sony. I tend not to like the taste of foot in my mouth.
the game is shaping up quite nicely.
that's the reason why it's not selling well. Once they release a well favored RPG Japan will go cucu over cocopuffs...
aside, the advantage is not only in the amount of data you can put on a disk. But also the fact that the data (textures, sound and so on) can be place uncompressed. Which will benefit the CPU from doing any realtime decompression leaving it free to do other task.
when you have a developer who has been complaining about the PS3 AND 360 and how multi-threading is a pain. Yes he is lazy, developing for the Wii shouldn't be an issue and according to him will surpass the 360 as well. PC developers are still developing for a single core CPU and the wii just happens to be that. And that's why he prefers it and the fact that the controller looks like a Twinkie too.
I'm with you on that one.
Haloalllamo, build something they need and build it well and they'll buy. But as long as there home grown products are of better quality why buy from any where else. Tag you're it! Answer that now.
products because of the nuclear bomb. This must be the most ignorant comment ever! Maybe it's more around the lines of; they don't buy American products because they tend to be of inferior quality. I bet if Apple was to launch a console they wouldn't have half the problems MS is having in Japan.
I'm really looking forward to this game.
to see American developers b@tch so much when they have a challenge. You don't hear Japanese developers b@tching as much or making comments to this extreme. Japanese developers are always up for a challenge I guess that's why they tend to be better at what they do.
the stupid website. Just ctrl + alt + delete. once in task manager close annoying website, end of story.
but it sounds to me like you have a PS3 and you just realized how bad Sony is doing and in an attempt to help your investment you are pleading to the public for support. I might be wrong, but if you believe so much in Sony you shouldn't be pleading for support on there system or format.

why would I have thought you wrote the article? Just by assuming that I did confirms that you have sh!t for brains. Besides with your spelling they wouldn't hire you to bag groceries.
will be better on the Xbox 360 due to its familiar PC like architecture. The PS3 requires a completely different approach to game development. Hence the reason why developers have been angry as to why they have to learn something new when you could have made it more familiar. The only reason why games can be ported in the first place is due to the Cell's PPU. But I really doubt they have taken the time to fully use any of its SPU's. Especially when they are just trying to launch a game on sev...
