what it boils down too is this website wouldn't get as many hits if they would have named this article anything other than "Sony Breaking Up With PS3 Cell Processor this Valentine’s Day" instead of "Sony to outsource Cell production".

I just happened to go by Walmart last night and played a little with the PS3 demo unit. I was completely surprise (actually shocked) at how bad the Motorstorm demo was compared to the one I downloaded from the PS network. Low res textures, frame rate issues and collision problems seem to plague the demo used at Walmart. The new demo that's on the PS network is miles ahead in quality, sad that many people will judge the game based on that one crappy demo though.
And they all road the short bus to the testing facility.
I will be buying UT3! Graphic's look great and if they will be making the single player more interesting that's a plus.

Do have better darks but when it comes to brights LCD beats it hands down. LCD's IMHO tend to show a lot more detail than CRT's, that's not to say that CRT's look bad though. I have an HD CRT and LCD and I like the picture quality on the LCD a lot better.
does suck! They do have a point though, the 360 has more than enough processing power to offer great picture quality on it's DVD playback. I believe MS should just go ahead and fix the issue the power is there why not use it.

(looking at it from a business prospective). MS shouldn't lower the price and when Halo3 is released they should offer it in a bundle. That would surely drive some sales.
I see your point. But how can there be a PS3 game in the top 20 when no game that has come out for the PS3 deserves it. Japan (and everyone else) is all about games. Once AAA titles launch there dry spell might change.
MS is in a position to lower the price just yet. Considering there revenue report and how much money they have lost in that department. They have spent millions securing exclusives and in marketing. They'll probably lower the price this holiday season due to it being two year old hardware by then.
how many professional "analyst" make it to this site. It's either that or some of these suckers must be buying stocks from either MS or Sony.
It seems many have forgotten that the PS3 has only launched in two regions at this time. It's hard to tell how well it will do or how it will compare to the Xbox 360 which has launched in over 30+ regions so far. The best time to comment on the failure or success of the PS3 compared to the Xbox 360 won't be known till the PS3 launches in the same regions as well.
I could really care less on which console will this look better. I'm just happy as hell that it doesn't matter what console I have I'll be playing this sweet a$$ game!
I have to admit EU has always been PS3 country. I have no doubt that it will do well since most Xbox 360 sold have been in the US to begin with. The PS3 is doing well (25,000) sales a week in Japan alone isn't too bad especially when you consider that no good games have been launched yet. All people are waiting for is for AAA titles to hit the system. And EU getting 30 titles at laucnh will more than likely help sales in that region.
That's was funny! Sony needs to do some MAJOR restructuring when it comes to there employed staff.
