seem to be sick of WWII games but i'm not. I'm really looking forward to this one.
hopefully it'll live up to my excitement.
I have to admit it was one great looking game. Hell I have a few games still left (before I switched to the PS3)and all of them were great games. It would've been nice to see it come to the PS3 for those who haven't played it yet.
and that's all good I have no problems with that. As a matter of fact sometimes reading most of the fan boy comments is kind of entertaining. What I do have a problem with is that when you post a comment that some fan boy doesn't like (be it flame bait of not). They go straight for the bubbles! I believe this is unfair, this should be left to the moderators not some jack a$$ kid (especially if it's not offensive to anyone but MS and Sony). People come to this site to MAKE COMMENTS those who c...
Bubble for you too my friend.
a bubble for you my friend! I have decided to give bubbles to those I agree with. And take away from those I don't, since every A$$ WIPE in this site prefers to take my bubbles when they don't agree instead of hitting the aree/disagree.
at being an arrogant jack a$$! Hope that wand keeps you afloat whenever you start sinking. Isn't that how it always ends with Nintendo's consoles?
What did this update bring that you don't agree with? Then again you wouldn't know would you! After reading your last statement ITR "If I had a PS3 I would expect it to play PS2 games". I have no clue why you're so upset when you don't even have a PS3 to begin with. Not having a PS3 to see the benefits of the firmware for yourself means your opinions about the firmware are pointless.
How can they flame Sony over what's been one of the most talked about firmware upgrades EVER!? This update is a AV freaks wet dream, BC is NOT as important as what they have added to the systems capabilities. For those who don't agree, well, keep using your PS2 and PS3 till the list is updated. In regards to there comments section, you can't go around with your finger up in the air about "freedom of the press" and not let others post there opinions (regardless if flame or not). Last...
When a company does a great firmware release. And you don't talk about how good it is. But you do focus on what's missing!! typical Kotaku crap, the same web site that firmly believes in "freedom of speech" but won't let you post a comment unless it's approved by them.
it's not a DLP it's an LCD LN-R3228W does indeed support it. BTW Ninja Gaiden looks incredible with this feature on.
Multi-platform games usually suck for one or the other console. That's why all these comparisons between multi-platform games are nothing but fan boy flame bait. Only those who don't know squat will base how good a platform is, based on a multi-platform games. When these muti-platform game comparison's are done I look at the comments and filter out those who actually know and follow the industry from those who just spew sh!t out of there mouths.
with all the content and free roaming you can do on this game. Buying it is the only option for me :).
I just hope the three basic things that can hurt this game for me are not present. Bad frame rate, camera angles and bad controls...
and as a current PS3 and PC owner. The game doesn't look as bad as they have shown it to look on the 360. There are several factors to take under consideration here like what resolution was the PC version running at? How was the frame rate? And what were the in-game settings. For those proud high end PC owners (who only work to keep up with the 6 month up grade trend). There's not much to be proud of, the expense that it takes to run a next gen game with all settings maxed and at high resolut...
I can't read it :(
are just waiting for a price drop. I think it's funny how some analyst claim doom for Sony when they've only been out for 6 months. Regardless Sony made a mistake assuming they would sell like hot cakes at there current price point. But that's something they can fix at least.
but after watching the demo on gametrailers I can see why there's so much interest now.
on the DVD player itself. I have a Denon upconverting DVD player connected to my new 42" Samsung plasma tv and the picture quality looks incredibly good.
I hope your wife got a special gift for mother day, she's definitely one in a million to let you have that kind of set up :)
I loved the dreamcast that system was without a doubt ahead of it's time. Too bad it failed to bring in the crowds...oh well I sure enjoyed it. Here's a pic of my set up, it's not much but it's in my bedroom where I can play with "minor disturbance.
