How much advance crap HP puts on a case developers will still develop for the lower denominator and plus 100 more different PC comfigurations. PC's want to be so advance in graphics that they leave behind the consumer every 6 months or so. Great in terms of advancement but not so great for the consumers wallet. I know there be a few PC gamers out there that'll say "well you can lower the settings". To them I say kiss my a$$, if I spend 50+ dollars on a games it's to be played the wa...
and I have to say there are no killer games that would entice a none PS3 owner to buy one. I'm a little pissed myself I need a damn good game PRONTO!
I wish they did make a sequel I have no doubt I'd buy one ASAP.
but I expect sales to go up once some "must have games" start coming down the pipeline. But 100,000 units is nothing to sneeze at though, good job Sony.
The signal going thru the component cables is an analog signal (unlike the PS3 which is pure digital). With an adapter this signal will have to be converted to digital. The problem here is the multiple conversions that can degrade video quality. People will be better off just leaving there component cables as is.
build there own Fab and build the console themselves. That way they have more control over the quality of there product and can reduce cost at there discretion.
I went thru two systems, hardware failure is just that hardware failure. Sometimes I agree people can be the cause, but in my case and many, many others it went bad due to a faulty system. Hell I remember seeing reports of the protective tin being left on the GPU's thermal paste. MS designed the system very well, it's the company putting the damn thing together that's messing up!
I wish I live in finland!!!
too bad I don't have my 360 anymore. It would of been cool if the helmet was wearable.
Bioshock would be very nice!
or the Wii for that matter. Hell I think they all have something unique. But corporate A-holes nikpicking each other is what get's on my nerves. PS2 didn't have much memory and yet look at GOW2, it's all in the developers hands. Both systems will churn out great looking games and that's all people should care about. Hell I loved the 360 as long as it was working that is.
It's like saying Walmart sold 10,000 so what? Well how about if you include best buy, circuit city, gamestop, ebgames, toyRus, and other retailers. 10,000 units is pretty damn good from just on retailer.
You might be right and you might be wrong. The thing here is like you JUST posted "Ozymandias works for MS" so why would I have to believe anything this sh!t head has to say? MS and Sony are trying to sell consoles ever since the first next gen console was released, the opposing teams have made it a fact of criticizing each others so called weak points. They've only praise the Wii due to the fact that the Wii is aimed at another segment of the market and they don't see them as a thr...
read the comments they posted on his blog. He already got pwned by someone who KNOWS what they're talking about.
Comment:
Parveen Kaler comments: "That is very one-sided analysis. There is a space vs. speed trade-off here. The PS3 doesn't require as much memory for certain tasks. For example, progressive meshes are a viable technique on the [PlayStation 3's] SPUs, whereas it is not very viable on the 360's cores." Later on, apparently blocked from commenti...
but that's exactly the reason why I jumped back to Sony. Going thru two faulty systems was enough for me. Sad though as the system does have some great games now and coming down the pipeline. Still I have only respect for MS and there system, they've come a long way. And they are sure as hell doing a great job (except for faulty hardware, at least in my case that is).
will make or break a system. If you could have Mario or halo on the PS3 why would you buy a Wii or 360? Keeping exclusive's like FF and MGS is important to Sony if these are also lost many gamers won't see a reason to spend more money on the PS3. I have a PS3 for it's exclusive's (don't really care for the devil may cry series though). First party games must really show off the systems capabilities, because by the looks of things this will be what will set them apart.
Capcom would have to be crazy not to release this game on the 360. Considering how much money they've made with there previous releases on the system.
That makes two of us. They need to release the Lair demo asap!
So basically this game is quack!!
how i prefer it!!! Give me more efficient game engines and quit milking me for more hardware money.
