Niether of them will take off till BR and HD-DVD movies are widely available for rent. How many people you know will buy a HD TV and a HD player + a $35.00-$40.00 movie? That's insane! You want to know where most buyers go to shop at? Walmart! The reason, price and availability. The players are out the TV's are out the movies are out. But the price is not justified. Niether is the difference between a regular DVD and a HD DVD if you don't own the right equipment.
I guess we'll see if that problem persist with the next-gen GTA.
I saw the review and yes you're right. But why would that be the hardwares fault? We're talking about THQ here, and I have no doubt this is software related.
I think if the Gears would of sounded something like the tri-pods in "War of the worlds" it would've been better.
I think Sega must have looked at Capcom and seen that there's money to be made going multi-platform. Just imagine if MGS4 was also released on the xbox 360. This would no doubt be the best selling game ever period.
Dude it's just a damn game! They looked like terrorist so that's why I classified them as such. Maybe they did invade THERE virtual land, it's not like we're going to get virtual OIL out of it.

The game looks good I just don't dig the color filter they're using. It looks like someone took a piss on the camera lens.
If they don't compress that 22GB of data and with the slow seek times on BR. I guess you can start your game and have enough time to shower before the game loads.

This game should be out around the time GOW is out. I guess we'll see if the 22GB helps it look or be better than GOW (Judging by the screens it won't).

If this game only has 7-14 hours of gameplay. It'll be 22GB's of sloppy programming.
