Another point is that Nvidia was screwing them over the price of the graphics card. MS had to pay the same price for the crad throughout the xbox's life span. Also developers could only use Nvidia's drivers. They couldn't program to the metal, which is why PS2's graphics started looking better near the end. The deal on the video card really was the cause of the original xbox's demise.

just feel wrong I just don't like the trigger buttons and the light weight of the cont6roller on the PS3. Never had a PS2 never wanted one so I don't care about the PS3 games so 360 for me and if Sony ever comes out with something good I will borrow my brother's ungimped 60 gig PS3 to play it on. As more consoles are sold the attach rate goes down, not up. The 360 is an anomaly. The attach rate should be going down as more units are sold. Remember this was a concern early in the 360's life where analysts were saying only the hardcore are buying the unit because the attach rate was so high. Those that want the Wii so bad are not gamers and will not sustain a platform through its life cycle. Mario and Zelda might but Wii sports is a one trick pony. People buy a Wii and only play the one game. I mean the new gamers coming in. Not the people that have been playing Nintendo consoles for years.

It just says there isn't a large demand for the PS3 in China yet, so they haven't bothered to mod it yet. When the demand picks up so will the modding.
