OK, see what happened this gen when Sony launched after the X360 and how MS totally won the US+UK market after the Wii appeal died down? guess what's going to happen now that MS became a powerhouse by its own....

MS launching first will kill any PS4 chances to sell well in US+UK, this gen went for too long, the core is starving for a new beast of Console...
Kinect proved that people wanted to waggle their arms to enjoy a casual game, same way wii-mote proved that people wanted to waggle their arms with a joystick to enjoy a game, Sony is doing what it already did:
Wii-mote <-> Move
Kinect <-> stuff Tracking patents to use with the next Eyetoy
This only means that PSV is in worst possition in EU and Japan,
EU is switching to Tablets + Smartphones
Japan is all about 3DS + Smartphones + Tablets

Gamers care about games and IF third party games are nowhere to be found on the Wii-U, they'll not care about said console, same story with the wii, not saying it's going to happen, but if "low specs" is used again from third parties as the problem to not port games for the U, then damn, that's a mistake Nintendo said I'd fix with the Wii-U, they said they wanted to get the core-gamers this time >:(

Not complains until I see the final product, even then, after some patches as well, going by the development of the PC version hehe...
Remember these consoles will last for 5/6/7 years, so what it sounds like overkill right now, it may be the standard a few years later...
They can do 32GB of the slowest RAM ever if it's for the sake of the size, like Mr Crytek wanted :P but that doesn't work because most GPUs now use GDDR5 RAM which is faster than Edram and also expensive as @#*/! XD
So, the only thing they would do is put so much Edram as possible and then fill the thing with DDR3 and call it a day -__-
At this point, S-E better push it to Next-Gen Consoles, because a year from now, no one will care about this game when XBX3+PS4 are out...
But it's not like the way the X360 works, right? I mean DD patch while gaming... isn't this old news?
The reason of WHY XBOX exist is exactly because MS want the living room for themselves, smart enough to realise that Game Consoles are an excellent way to achieve that goal, so they'll push it as hard as they can to take the crown...
XBX3 will be more than a gaming system, it'll cater everyone with games + apps + multimedia and more, don't know why people complain about this, as long as games keep coming out, no one should be against a more varied console
